Shayne **Spoilers**

Personally, I thought shayne was real---i mean it's easy for us to say that they know what they're getting into when they come on this show--which is true to an extent--i think they know that they will be on tv, and that they will be fighting with 24 other girls for one guy--i don't think they realize what that exactly is going to be like until they get there--and for many it is difficult and as we have seen, woman after woman has in the past shows said i don't know if this is for me i'm not used to having to do this---we can't possibly know how difficult it is because we haven't done it ourselves--i think shayne was real on that episode--how many of us are on a date with 7 other girls? I would probably wonder if i could do it also.

I think it almost doesnt matter whether she was real or playing a part. Matt made it clear that he does not like the drama. And she is one high maintenance girl.

In contrast to the other girls, Shayne was edited as plainly being unable to identify where Matt was from upon meeting him the first time when she left the limo. He said he was instructed to "not tell them where he was from." Unfortunately, I am thinking the producers were playing a "blonde moment" with the editing.
He has stated that among other things, his chosen one is "smart". We will need to watch the editing closely to see if the producers point out any other little things that would indicate that Matt would not see Shayne as "smart".

Now that that is out of the way, we can now continue with the storyline.

I think the excuse of not knowing about group dates only works for the girls on Season 1. At this point it really shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. All the other girls were fine....Shayne's problem is that her ego couldn't take that she was not the center of attention. He was showing all the other girls equal affection and she didn't like it. She even asked him if he thinks she is the type of girl to wait for a guy. Drama queen, literally.

Just a side note, Matt described his girl as smart and I don't get that from Shayne at all. Certainly not from someone who complained about the other girls "eyeing for your attention" to Matt and that "there IS other girls here". Something tells me that Matty is a stickler for proper English.

I don't think that the fact that they're on a group date is any surprise to any of the girls on the show---however, until you're there you don't realize how hard it is to get the bachelor's attention when you have 7 other girls there trying to get his attention also--it's hard--it's a difficult situation i'm sure. SO, what she's trying to say and what I'm trying to say is that these girls really don't know what they are getting into until they get there--i doubt they realize that the producers will bait them--and i doubt they really realize the lack of food they have--or how hard it will be to fight with 7 other dominant females--
