Sorry to all her fans - have no favorites, but I feel compelled to say - she appears to be spoiled and insecure. Likely due to her up bringing. Certainly not use to NOT getting her way or getting all the attention. Will probably be a good opportunity for her to learn a few things. Also appears that Matt is smitten by her beauty - now it is up to him to determine whether that is more important that having someone who is probably more programmed for mutual exchange in a relationship. High-maintenence girls are irristable to some men - - obviously, we are prey to the edits and the image they wish to provide - - but slicing and dicing it - brings me to the conclusion he will enjoy her beauty until very near the end - then, choose another.

I rather thought his comment on drama was one of the first real moments he had. Think he is far more programmed for the ego-boost of being out w/ so many women to really feel much joy in being pulled away from his fun for the dramatic act.

Like I said in another thread, who could blame these women for acting the way they are, Matt will bring it out of you whether you want to or not. I don't blame any for their behavior, shucks I'll fight, clown and everything else over him too.

No blame intended - just an observation - - another thought she comes from acting - used to hollywood and limelight and popularity -- - if to connect to Matt - home might end up being London - do you think she is programmed to let it all go. I'm not seeing a remake of the Grace Kelly story here.

I agree with your assessement wholeheartedly. I've never been very complimentery of her on the boards up to this point but it's because I recognized this behavior from other people before thru my husband's corporation that he works for. With Matt pursuing a high profile & very public career should he pursue acting, etc...the last thing he doesn't need is public displays that will embarrass him...especially in an environment where men are king...much like a Hollywood.

Perhaps more important than what she actually does, is how her character fits in with the story being told this time. Are we watching the Princess Bride this time?
Could this be a play on the firedrake issues and Matts acting aspirations? "Will he choose the budding, young actress with a famous family." or is he really in search of LOVE? Are we already being given reasons why each one will/won't be chosen?

If that's the case, then there are no reasons why the others aren't chosen, and that is the exact reason why she is chosen.

Also, it gives this huge lie to all of this spiel about how in love he is because I have difficulty believing that he chooses the one whose family can further his acting aspirations and just conveniently happens to fall head over heels in love along the way.

If this is true, he makes Brad look like a truthful Boy Scout.
