Matt believes there is more to Shayne then only being high maintenance/sex kitten. Matt also believes that Shayne could prove him wrong. I am starting to see that with Shayne. She is a contender for F1.

I agree that she really has more to her then what meets the eye at first, and I believe that Matt sees that and that is why she makes it to at least F3. But, he is also aware that she is high maintenance and as much as he is attracted to her - I think he realizes that a long term relationship with Shayne might be iffy.

If he had never met any of the other girls, I think he would have gotten to know Shayne better but under the circumstances I think he will let her go at F3.

I think they have done a terrible job of editing Shayne's interactions with Matt. While they let you see her gorgeous puppy dog eyes, they leave out too much of what she has to say! They make her appear at times to definitely be a sandwich short of a picnic. But I see this very beautiful but VERY VERY insecure girl who hasn't had alot of stability in her life. If he doesn't pick her I hope she learns through all this that she really is a special young lady.

But Matt seems pretty savy to me and I think he gets her completely as time goes on and understands her. I think he loves her athleticism. So many things about her are right up his alley. I think she takes him by surprise. I think he found her to be very physcially attractive initially and as time went on she became so much more to him. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and he's all about her about now. That's what I see.

You may be right here. she could very well go at F3. I'm still on the fence with her and Chelsea for that position.

This is very sweet. And I agree they barely show a snippet of what is actually said between these girls and Matt. Although, Shayne along with Chelsea and Amanda never seem to be at a loss for words when Matt asks them questions. This is where I think Ashlee and Holly lost his interest.

I also think that when Marshana says to Matt "no guts, no glory" a light bulb goes off in his head..whether or not this related to her own date I'm not sure but I think it'll play out deeper than just this 1 date.

I still see Matt completely captivated by Shayne. He's already said that she's out of his league. Then he sees this side of her that's athletic, which he ReALLY likes. I think that most men have a hard time resisting a woman they find mysterious and I believe Matt finds her mysterious. I see him really liking Chelsea but it being too comfortable (no challenge) and Amander is beautiful, but I don't see them connecting mentally. It looks like sometimes Matt doesn't get her humor...
