Everytime I look at these sorts of screencaps (season after season), all I can think is how unnatural and awkward it would be to be engaged in close conversation, warm romantic moments, physical contact IN FRONT OF MULTIPLE CAMERAS, PRODUCERS, GUYS HOLDING FUZZY MICROPHONES etc.

The producers are setting up camera angles and shots. This is not spontaneous behavior, and therefore I can't see the benefit of the micro-analysis.

Sometimes pictures are worth a thousand words, even pictures that come out of the bachelor.

But these pictures? Who knows.

Let's wait for the soundtrack (or captioning!) and plot, I say.

I am glad to see that someone else thought this. Maybe it is the leg lift thing, but when I saw that sc, my first reaction was those older movies where they always had the girl lift her leg during a kiss. I think it has even been spoofed in some (or one) of those comedy movies that make fun of other movie genres?

I thought maybe it was being done as a spoof. Or maybe a set up. I think I remember Erin H doing that leg lift in the meet and greet with Matt. Maybe Fleiss is coaching the ladies to exhibit certain gestures or mannerisms to help create confusion.

I wouldn't put it past the Fleissmeister. My first reaction to that photo was contrived but that would make sense if they were coached to do that.

Still, the leg lift like that, done sincerely, indicates surrender.

Meredith and Ian lying on the floor smooching during his last chance date - talk about toes curling! Even her heavy socks couldn't disguise it.

Maybe we are seeing Amanda's toe curling type reaction to that kiss. Maybe not - maybe the director yelled through the megaphone - Bend That Leg!
