Here's a body language question for folks who are good at that type of thing...jelle brought up a good point about the footage we have seen being about 4-5 days worth of interactions. Intense interactions, but for the most part brief interactions. I know right now the thought is that Amanda and Matt have the most promsing body language. I wonder how likely it is for that to change and evolve over time? For example, some of the best relationships start from a friendship, and evolve to a romantic relationship. Could that be the case for Chelsea? She certainly locks lips with Matt quite a bit it seems.

I don't see it with Chelsea. I could probably get really detailed on this so I'll try to keep it short. While there seemed to be an instant attraction between them I feel it is coming more from her than him. When I look at the catamaran shots, while there is one of them holding hands, the ones at the railing just seem to scream two buddies hanging out and chatting. So, while I would say, yes, you would expect to see the body language become more familiar and intimate I am actually not seeing that happening, in any significant way, with Chelsea.

Oh law! Do you really want to go there? During the last few episodes of the Travis season, there was the biggest controversy on boards everywhere about this subject between people who argued that since they had been friends first with their honeys, Travis could be a friend first with Sara.
It was extremely heated and of course never reconciled - also moot within a week of the FRC,

Just my 2 cents, Lynn7, I agree and would like to mention that in the first episode, in the scene where Matt walks over to the couch (the arm wrestling follows).

Chelsea had to "remind him" of her wish to have him engage in that with her. Notice that Matt's body language and attitude, seems to "just go along". She brings it up, and he almost appears to not remember, his face looks like he would rather not. He just finished meeting 25 ladies for the first time. But he certainly enjoyed it, as he was laughing.

That may have been the friend connection, where she made him feel comfortable, during the "meet & greet". She broke the ice for him to have some fun.

We know she goes far, but we'll have to see if there are romantic feelings on his side as well.

Ouch, I wasn't on the boards then and actually I could barely tune in to Travis, as he put me to sleep

I was throwing it out there for discussions sake, but it seems there is a consensus on Chelsea and Matt not showing sparks. I still think we'll see more as the weeks go on, but you guys are definitely the body language experts so I bow to you

I'm sure if he could have given the rose to Amanda he would have. There is no way they would let him do that, since she got the FIR the night before.

I bet he regrets giving her that rose in private especially the way she acted while he was talking to the rest of the girls. And of course, the producer was clapping their hands at that moment because there will be controversy afterwards.

There is an interview with Matt on Ellen DeGeneres that he wanted to just slam her hand down showing his very competitive side. From what we've seen of Chelsea & including clips from the Rugby Match...she is very much a tomboy type competitive person herself. I can see that playing along in a just "Good Friends" relationship between them 2. What do you think...any thoughts?
