I do think he made up his mind about Shayne and Amanda fairly quick. I also get the vibe from him that he knows what he likes and dislikes.

You know, it's interesting. I had a conversation with a friend about a month ago about my being able to read BLF and he asked me if I ever feel like I'm invading other peoples' privacy and I was floored that someone (a hearing person) would even think about that but it's so true. There are more times than I can count where I see too much and actually look away because it makes me feel like a voyeur.

I too am a fan of this thread...(thanks Lynn)...and enjoy putting all the pieces together...what we see & hear...and then what Lynn sees and "hears".It is truly AMAZING when there is a real joining of all the pieces

In the first picture, I think it is adorable how far Matt is reaching to wait for Amanda's kiss. He is not even making her meet half-way; he's going further than necessary to be nearer to her. He has his eyes close almost in anticipation, while her eyes are open. She has a slight smile on her face that makes me think she can not wait to kiss him. The second picture I think is after the first picture, but could have occurred first. I see a sense of tenderness and something deeper, but maybe that is a little bias creeping in. I also saw something protective and tender as well as fairly passionnate in his kisses with Shayne next week.

I'm going to include two photos of Matt kissing to try to explain what I see.


Amanda: Generally speaking, when a person keeps theirs eyes open during a kiss this is far more intimate a kiss because it reads as the person is sexually free with their expression. A person who kisses with their eyes open likely isn't the kind of person that wants the lights off...if you know what I mean. This tells me that Amanda is very comfortable with Matt and is connected enough with him to kiss him this way. Smiling while kissing can be read as nervous, or uncomfortable, but the fact that she has her eyes open tells me that she is very happy and excited to be kissing him. I could go into more detail but you probably get the jist.

Matt with Amanda: If you look at the expression on his face it is far more serious of an expression than that with Robin the bobin. When I look at that expression it reads as real affection as opposed to feigned. There is an obvious reaching on his part, with his head, so he is bringing her to him in a way; he wants her to be close with him. We don't see him reaching with his arms so I can't say whether or not there is more to it than that but, more than anything, it's his facial expression. It is loving and tender.

Matt with Robin the bobin: While he has his arm around her his body is somewhat facing away from her, and limp looking, casual, so it doesn't read as a genuine kiss. He also appears to have a smirk on his face, or he's blushing in embarrassment, as though he didn't want to kiss her. Also, if you look at his lips they are shaped in what looks like a friendly peck kind of kiss as opposed to a going in for the kill kind of kiss like he is with Amanda

The leg lifting during the kiss reads as, argghh, what's the word. Completely giving herself up to him...what is that word? She's very into that kiss.

His right hand seems to be a deep hold reading as not wanting to let her go. The problem I have is that it seems like he is casually leaning against the car and it looks like he has his left hand in his pocket which reads as protecting or guarding oneself. Maybe he's trying to hide something?

Not so sure his left hand is in a pocket - his elbow is at a 90 degree angle - could be that he has his hand inside her jacket - behind her right arm - now don't think the wrong thing here LOL
