I definitely think Amanda was tops for him on the runway. There was no indication from Matt that he wanted to give her the rose; in the hotel suite. He didn't even look at her when he picked up the rose. He may have wanted to give it to her at the runway but he was, more than likely, told that he couldn't give it to her again.

Keep in mind that it is a 2 or 3 second clip so it's always hard to know if I'm reading it right.

The way that Matt is gripping Noelle, at the shoulders, it looks like he's trying to push her away (not literally) from him, as though she's getting too close to him so he's keeping his distance.

She doesn't have her arms wrapped around him either. She appears to have her arms gripping his waist, as though she's keeping her distance from him too. This is surprising because she didn't come across as cautious in the first episode so it seems odd to me that she would be wanting to keep her distance from him.

Lynn, I would love to hear your take on the SC with Matt and Amanda on the Roller Coaster. His head is tilted and he is waiting for her kiss. What do you make out of that SC..??

If we did not know that Chelsea is the pharmaceutical rep that probably is F2, would what you see in interaction place her in that position? at this point?

I realize we have screen cap evidence, but what are you seeing?

And from the interactions or non interactions, has Matt already chosen his final four, three, two?

It is so hard for me to interpret feelings from screencaps. I'm better with moving objects, like lips , but I'll check it out and see if anything jumps out at me.

See, that's what is odd to me. He doesn't indicate that he is *that* into Chelsea. I almost forget about watching her because Matt just isn't showing me, in how he interacts with her, that he's interested in her more than maybe just a friend. I like to closely watch the women that I get the 'interested' vibe from.

It's interesting that you ask about the F4, F3 or F2. At this point there is something deep brewing with Amanda and something protective brewing with Shayne. So, yes, I think Matt definitely has two women in mind but I don't think he's convinced about the other two yet. I am unsure how to read his interactions with Noelle because we really only saw them interact in episode one and, for her part, she's certainly interested in him but he was a little more difficult to read. He's either very interested or very guarded around her so I'm looking forward to seeing how they interact on future episodes.

Now, having said all of that, I think that he is very interested in only one woman, or a couple, and he is keeping the ones he can tolerate better than others because he has to keep a certain number of women each week. I hope that makes sense.

Lynn, I think he already knows who he is interested in . I just get that feeling about him.. He strikes me as the type of guy that can pick out the cream of the crop instantly .. IT has to be Amanda.

I checked out the screencaps and YT but I couldn't find the shot of him tilting his head. What I did see, however, was very tender interaction between them.

I agree. The more I see of those two the more convinced I am that it was like a first sight Or, "you had me at hello."

With the majority of the women left he doesn't seem too interested in any of them. For example, with Robin he is giving off a friend vibe and with Marshana a physical only vibe but there's nothing substantial with these women so it's kind of funny watching the show because he keeps them around for some time and yet I can't really understand why. The only explanation is that he has to keep somebody so he keeps the lesser of two evils.

I initially found Matt so hard to read but now that I've figured out how to read him he is easier than the last bachelor; who I thought was very easy to read, other than the constant confusion, which turned out to be just that, confusion on his part. I never would have thought a British European would need to be read differently than a North American but he does.

At this point we are reading very early reactions to the girls. I believe that every bachelor has been able to narrow down the to the first 15 easily, partly because of producers actions, but mostly because he reacts on the time he does spend with each. If the first party lasts as many hours as we think, there is plenty of time to interact with anyone he wants. He too is reacting to body language and their efforts to know him.

At the point we are watching, he will have "known" these girls for about four days. Certainly he has picked out a few that are on the top of his list, and a few he simply likes and wants to know much better, and the ones he just enjoys having around. In two weeks time he will have narrowed it down to four That is an awfully short time to be sure of THE one, much less fall in LOVE.

I heard/read somewhere that the guys really do have time on the dates to get to "know" the girls, but unless someone tells them, they have no idea what goes on off dates. I have always believed there was more outside intervention and information between the crew and the cast, but perhaps the bachelor must request it I have wondered how much input Chris Harrison has. I know he has been closer with some bachelors than others

Sorry - I am rambling - I am off to bed
