I don't think he will be keeping Amanda away from him any time soon.
Maybe he already knows where this is heading and therefore keeps the girls at bay. After all he is not a dum guy, he knows that the F1 will be watching him in the episodes.
Just a comment, I am right handed and always wear my watch on my left arm. If you are writing, etc, you don't have to stop to look at your watch.
I'm left handed, but I favour my right foot more. I put my watch on my left wrist, I'm used to it and since most people do it in that manner as well. I noticed Shayne who seems to be left-handed by the way she uses her left hand with the tea and so forth and her watch is on her right wrist.

Keep in mind that it is a 2 or 3 second clip so it's always hard to know if I'm reading it right.

The way that Matt is gripping Noelle, at the shoulders, it looks like he's trying to push her away (not literally) from him, as though she's getting too close to him so he's keeping his distance.

She doesn't have her arms wrapped around him either. She appears to have her arms gripping his waist, as though she's keeping her distance from him too. This is surprising because she didn't come across as cautious in the first episode so it seems odd to me that she would be wanting to keep her distance from him.
Thank you Lynn for your analysis on the ice skating.

My husband is right handed and wears his watch on his left wrist.

I'm both handed (ambidextrous) and I don't wear a watch at all. It's too confusing

unless a screencap was flipped, I thought I saw her with her watch on her left last night.

Adding my kudos for lynn. Thanks for the wonderful thread.

I'm right handed and wear a watch on my right hand. I never thought anything of it, but apparently that's not normal. People often assume I'm left-handed based on my watch..

Very normal, catn3d,

Lefty like you and wear my watch only on my left hand. Mr. Bogey thinks most people wear their watch on the right hand. (He does forget alot of times that I do everything the opposite way from him)

Well, you and I seem to be a bit backwards LOL

Shayne wears her watch on her right hand.

Re: Body, Lip and Facial Communication Bachelor 12 *SPOILERS*

Lynn...enjoying your analysis!

The look that Matt gave Amanda after she took the outer top off, to reveal the gold bikini, was what I would describe as, "blushing disbelief." It's as though he's trying to hold back an expression that could be read as 'he can't believe his good fortune.' He nods his head slightly (indicating no; not) but being coupled with a blushing smirk reads as a positive disbelief as opposed to a negative. Also, the way he wrinkles up his face at the rose ceremony, when he called her name and she did her hiccup, indicates completely smitten and cracked up about her.

They were very comfortable in the rose exchange. I loved his reaction to her just as if they had this inside joke going on as if they were the only 2 in the room for a moment.

Why would Shayne say to him, essentially, that she doesn't need to beg for a date. Uhm, why come on the Bachelor then? He wrinkles his forehead in what I would call an exasperated way while she is going on and on. Their interaction is coming across as parent child to me. At first, I read a protectiveness on his part toward her, which is normally a good thing. The problem for me is that he's so calm, and there's a gentleness in the way he interacts with her, particularly when she's being a ridiculous drama queen, that it's still reading as protectiveness but in a superior, or parental, type of way. The way that you would calmly try to settle an unhappy child. I also noticed that when she is doing her PIs that she nods her head no when I would expect her to be nodding yes. For example, "I really want to know him and him only."

I said that as much last night...we agree.

More on Chelsea. When they are talking there is a great deal of space between them. It's probably due to the chairs but, even still, it just struck me as too far apart. It's akin to saying, "I don't want you to invade my space." When he's talking to her about the fact that she has alot of the characteristics that he's looking for he abruptly moves his hand down. This gesture is a subconcious way of showing her his invisible list, as though he has it in his hand and he's showing it to her. Normally this would be a positive gesture but the fact that he does it so abruptly leads me to believe that she doesn't have everything on his list. The other thing I noticed is that he doesn't seem engaged by her. He looks away quite a few times while they are talking which is why I was surprised that he gave her the date rose.

I noticed when she tells him a little about herself...."happy just like fun spirited child in a lot of ways" & his remark back was "yeah...so you're a independent free spirit". When he said this to her, he had this almost flippant tone & facial expression & he did look away & back. I noticed before they left that room that they both hugged & it was like a good friend hug. Another note....I would of thought that he would of chosen a sofa to sit get close with her on the 1 on 1 instead sitting at the bar.

I'm actually starting to think that maybe he isn't HHE afterall It could be that he's kissing these girls because he is put on the spot and he's too much of a gentleman to embarass them in front of the camera by saying no.[/quote]

Matt has admitted that his brother thinks he has a problem wanting to please people too much. I suspect that a few of his decisions & reactions that we've seen so far has put him the situation where he doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings so he accomodates plus coupled with the fact he is a gentleman. That might explain going ahead & giving the rose to Ashlee & coming back later to tone down his criticism to Shayne.

When he left his body language was that he couldn't wait to get away from her. Her language was that she didn't like the kiss. Her behaviour after receiving the rose was so incredibly childish. I'm sure he regretted giving her the rose. I hope he learned his lesson.
I agree. I noticed he told Ashlee that she was 1 of "top two on the catwalk". With his facial reactions & endearing "honey" comment to Amanda, I have to possibly think that Amanda's showing was the other one. Do you pick up that he wanted to give Amanda the rose instead?
