How best to describe this? Hmm...last night, laying on the couch, Matt's body language read as complete surrender to Amanda (passive; vulnerable). When you compare that to Chelsea laying on top of him on the couch she is the aggressor so he is not reading the same. It's more like victim and it's why I refer to that shot as Chelsea attacking Matt. Really hard to explain.

On the scene with them out on the deck that you're referring to he is, once again, in complete surrender to her, he has her not quite enveloped between him, like we see him indicate with Shayne, but his body language isn't protective, guarding her, like he does with Shayne. There's a freeness on his part with Amanda but it's complete surrender. Fully physically and sexually open to her. It's as though his body is reading as, "I'm all yours; you are a part of me (because she laying against him in the same direction; one body instead of two)." I hope I described that okay. I know what I'm trying to say but I'm not sure I'm saying it right.

I agree. In some shots the thumb looks like Shayne's and in others it looks like Amanda. I don't think it looks like Chelsea's at all. That's why I think the shoulder/elbow are more important because we can *see* him in the act of proposing and, thus, no photoshopping in of a ring box, colouring the skin to make it orange...etc.

I'm not 100% convinced there is a person in front of him. When I look hard I just don't see 2 sets of legs. Is it possible that what we think might be a person is just part of the railing? Or maybe I just need to put my glasses on!!

someone on here last night posted a pic that was pretty clear. It looked like Shayne's arm with her watch
I need someone elses input on this. If it is Shayne then that is a very telling picture

Do you know where that pic is? The ones in the sc thread don't seem that clear to me. I agree that if that is a person, most likely it would be Shayne because I think we'd see Amanda's or Chelsea's head.

EXACTLY...and as others have noted he is looking directly into someone's face...the height of the sholder IS a factor...THAT CANNOT BE SHAYNE (unless she has some killer heels on!)
