Is no one else curious why Matt is doing an interview to defend Shayne right in the middle of the show?
Has any other bachelor ever done this for any bachelorette on a show while it is being shown? I really don't think so; therefore, I think that it has to mean damage control, and the reason again is why?? hahaha
If she isn't the designated #1, what does it matter what kind of a rip the message boards are in over her?
If she is the designated #1, then Fleiss can see his (ill conceived) plan going down the commode unless he tries to do something to correct the public conception of his #1.

well i backed off and instead found out that matt is going to be talking to a special interview with a panel of 2 fans and 2 people who don't like the show!
apparently he will film it next week and they want him to talk about lurve!

heard about this today. he defends shayne clearly, but admits it has skyrocketed his cheesy factor. pre taped- my insider said the panel was all rigged

Welcome to the FORT!! Would love to hear more of your opinions on Matt. I am beginning to think he is not the proper British businessman that Fleiss is touting him to be.

Oh no, I am quite curious as well. Seems to be it must be damage control.

I too would like to hear more from englishlass. I have always thought they talked Matt up more than what he really is.

Fleiss' PR machine may have cranked out that nonsense, but we've known from before filming that he is not staid (nor a true British businessman). We've heard from friends and now from him that he enjoys practical jokes, and we've seen his Monty Python type of humor. He is from a different culture and it's difficult to pegged him into an American square hole. I'm just out to be entertained and between him and Shayne my laugh meter is rocking.

I'm curious as well, but until we see the actual interview if it is indeed next week, I am skeptical.

Doesn't bother me. Andy Baldwin used to defend Bevin during his season. Although I hoped Bevin would've been F1, many did not like her.
