I read the article and can confirm he said that...didn't say much else interesting though..could be a joke about Shayne,like she would fly cheap and stay in nice hotels, really,....probably just a joke..she probably will only fly the Concord or private jets..This could be a sign for Shayne as f1 if he meant what he said seriously but...

It is hard to read into anything he says...he calls everyone honey,says he misses them all,and was thinking about them,kisses most of them...then he cuts them...I don't take much of what he says as serious..

I fly Southwest all the time. Some of the crews are hysterically funny. (My favorite song , to the tune of the Barney theme song was " I love you. You love me. If you'd married one of us you'd be flying for free.")
Southwest has no assigned seating. You have to stand in boarding lines in the terminal and there is no first class. I do not get the feeling that Shayne would ever choose Southwest. I hope it was a joke.

I was on a NW flight this past weekend and I thought it was a SW flight. The toilet wasn't working and we were told to "hold it" till we landed.

Seriously, I hope we get a non-proposal rather than a pretend proposal if those are our only options. And I draw the line at ring-on-a-string and airline tickets as cracker jack substitute prizes for a ring on a finger.

pajamasam, yes it was a joke! Just trying to add some levity to the In Touch article where Matt says they like to travel the same, fly cheap, stay fancy

I fly "the peanut" quite regularly and enjoy most every flight. Thanks for sharing the song, now I'll just be singing it. All. Day. Long.

Does anyone know if there are any plans for Matt to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live? It seems that the past few bachelors have all appeared on his show, and it was very early into their seasons.

I just find it curious that Matt has not been on his show yet. I heard that Jimmy Kimmel did a skit or segment seriously trashing Lorenzo Lamas not too recently. Do you think that is the reason Matt may not appear on the show. We know Shayne goes far on the show so perhaps TPTB don't want him to do the show because of that.

Ok . That's a relief.

Hmm. Does anyone else feel that Matt is doing more interviews at this point of the season than Andy or Brad did? Maybe Fleiss has hired some different PR folks or has changed tactics.

He's not on the schedule through Friday, April 11. I always got the feeling Kimmel didn't like having the Bachelors on his show. Maybe he finally got out of his obligations to do so?

1. Matt is a crack-up. Good TV. Plus I'm sure he's thrilled with that aspect of this gig. He welcomes the chance to be on those shows, you can really see it. Plus, Matt is presently out of work, and available! I picture him "taking meetings" all over Hollywood during this down time, carrying around DVDs of his Awesome and Amusing TV appearances.

2. Andy did a fair amount, and was geographically and professionally confined to Hawaii, important work, etc.

3. Brad did a bunch of Sexiest Ever interviews, but then it dropped off, to me as a form of damage control. With his guilty knowledge of the final outcome, he was a pretty crappy interview, and he must have just hated it. No slight against him overall or personally, but it must have been hard to craft questions that he could honestly answer that would give viewers hope, generate excitement for the finale. Also, I'm sure that it was widely known among bookers at the big shows that he had picked no one. What's fun about that. And the viewer backlash to the "I pick No One" ending was bad enough, without hyping the show. I think ABC just gutted it out, and re-vamped the format to give us the Shayne Show.
