After last season I've learned not to expect anything. Most have even said that it was all about the rose. If we get both, I'll enjoy it for what it is. If a wedding takes place,even if it's not shown; it would be even better.

Don't apologize! Of course he doesn't propose! That is simply common sense. There is not one whit of evidence to suggest he would or did. I thought he had a genuine if fleeting expression on his face when Shayne suggested men really shouldn't marry before 30, that suggested her view resonated a bit.

To be honest, I think the F3 person historically has gotten a good edit. Gwen, Mandy, Cindy (from Byron's season), Danielle, Chad (from Mer's season)... All of them had fine edits. Susan, Bettina, Lisa, Shannon, Rob(or what ever his name was from Trista's season) got less than favorable edits... but I don't think that the F3 generally comes out looking bad. I think it's about half and half... so Both Shayne and Amanda could have a F3 edit... Shayne if they are going for the bad edit and Amanda if they are going for the sweet edit...

In this week's In Touch Weekly (it was laying around the office, OK?) Matt is profiled in his London apartment talking about his chosen one. Along with the standard blah, blah, blah about being the happiest man in the world etc. etc. he does say "the kind of woman I was looking for was strong, but the most important thing was that she was funny, genuine and social...the one I chose had the same views on spending on vacation: cheap flights, but nice hotels".

Does anyone have this weeks intouch weekly to confirm this?

Well, that is saying more than last season, so we will definitely be progressing. That is really all that is required of him when you basically look at it. I read somewhere that Fleiss said something about the idea that the Bachelor looks at the relationship, "Is this something that can go somewhere?"
That is paraphrased. What he was saying is that the guy is supposed to consider the idea. If the idea doesn't find appeal, it doesn't, but no where, no where in the interview did it say that the Bachelor wouldn't even give the last girl the final rose regardless of whether or not he wanted to continue on with the relationship.
Yes, I do think we will at least see the final rose out of 25 given, and I think we deserve to see that too after watching the process eliminate all of them down to 1.

While that is true, I forgot to mention that she has a good edit for being the final 3 lady and for recieving the FIR. I just think Amanda's edit is just way too squeaky clean as of right now. Who knows though, it may change in the coming weeks.
