That's actually a good possibility simplechef. That may be a reason he gives for letting her go at perhaps the final 3 because he is ready to settle down and she is not. ( I am not saying it's true, but it's a possibility.) That could also account for why she was shown as a bit immature like you said in your post. Very interesting.

Having been with a woman not ready to settle down before, this would play into his "pleaser" personality, in that he wouldn't have forgotten how it felt to be told "I'm not ready by someone"... He may have forgiven this other American beauty, but he's not forgotten it, as evidenced by him mentioning it in the interview... plus bringing up age and readiness to settle down in the interview.
