Great interview! I had not heard it before. Thanks!! Most interesting point: Matt dated an American for 2 years which ended when HE wanted to settle down, but she wasn't ready. Hmm, sounds promising.

How fun was that to watch a Brit interview a Brit over here "in the States"? That was rather a different kind of interview. We found out that he is open to staying if that is what the two of them decide. He also said that they could return to London if that was what the two of them wanted to do.

I thought that was interesting, as well, that his long term relationship ended when he was ready to settle down, but she wasn't. Sounds like this may be a guy who is ready.

He seemed really focused on settling down in that interview. He really brought it up a lot. And I do not get why he talks about future discussions about choosing where to live. There has to be a reason that he cant say they have even discussed it. I think there may be some visa issues that are behind that. (I am basing this on experience of a friend who married a Brit who had huge Visa problems , years ago.)

I found it interesting in that SanFran interview, that when the girl asked him about the age difference, she mentioned 33 year old women and if that was a factor, and Brad's response was about "If she's truly ready to settle down"... which implies a YOUNG woman... I wonder if he's specifically talking about Shayne. Not that it means he picked her, but that it was an issue that came up and they discussed. That could end up part of Shayne's story line... immature and not ready to settle down... I can hear the Chris Harrison voice over now, "and then there is beautiful Shayne that Matt was taken with the first night. Is Shayne ready to settle down and have a future with Matt?"... It's a possibility and might explain why we're seeing her being a bit immature.
