Bachelor 12 Media Thread ~ Spoilers

Catn3d, I definitely see your point as well. If for example, if Stacey had stayed for one more week and then pulled her shirt off on the runway (even if it was a bikini top underneath) everyone would be saying that she was just being her trashy self. It is interesting to me how all the girls on the show (in this season and in past seasons too) sort of get personalities and what may be acceptable for one of them to do (or get away with) is not the same for someone else. I have to say that I am guilty of doing this myself and I am sometimes too judgmental of one girl over another........

It will be interesting to see how the whole thing plays out on Monday. Sometimes something that looks like such a big deal in the previews turns out to be hardly anything once the show airs. It just goes to show you what the editing can do!

BTW, Catn3d, I just love the SC's you have been providing for all of us!! Please keep them coming!

Yep, that was my point...I don't think it'll be a big deal either. Even Ashlee seems a bit jealous that she didn't think of it herself LOL

girlsmom I agree completely. I am almost willing to bet that she was told/coached to model it in that way. Thats what the models always do, at least the ones I've seen. I've even watched them do that on The View (a PG rated show). If any of the girls made a issue out of it - I would say it is out of jealousy on their part and regret that they didn't get to do it.

I'm not sure it is what the girl is doing it's the manner in which she does it. Everything Stacy did was classless. Someone on Jokers did a side by side comparison of her and Blakeny of last season and they look a lot alike. HMMM.

Sure sounds like it's Love! I do have one question to ask anyone that has heard the 1st 3-14 voice only. She asks him what kind of characteristics that he was looking for. He mentions sincere, warm, caring, genuine...& then he says "the other stuff like to keep the b? back to me". Because of his accent, I didn't understand the word that sounded like it started with a B...can anyone decipher for me?

He was sweet & complimentary about the "The One" saying in the other voice media that she was an exceptional, warm, caring individual with so much depth, substance, sincerity, amazing driven & smart individual. So...that leaves us with who do we think made #1 that had those qualities? Questions questions.....

When you put together all these comments that he has said about "The One" it drives you crazy trying to figure out who just is "The One". Like his quote "I fancied her as soon as I saw her"...okay we do know that he instantly liked Amanda & Shayne. But then we have not been given anything in editing that shows that Chelsea would of been fancied at first. He mentions that wanting someone that stand's out in a room when you enter...okay Amanda is quiet, Shayne is stunning & Chelsea stood out do to her hand wrestling challenge. The if you base it on sincere, genuine type of individual then you automatically think of Amanda. Then you see these screencaps that make you think that well....Chelsea & Shayne will be in the last 2 but then you think how can it be Chelsea when we have not been left by Matt with the impression that he was smitten with Chelsea???? Geeze....This is driving me wild trying to figure out who really does make the final 2.

Orlando Sentinel - Local on 'The Bachelor' by

I got notes from a couple of people highlighting a local who's on the latest edition of ABC's The Bachelor. The bachelorette is Amanda Rantuccio with Knight, a downtown Orlnado advertising agency. Amanda is active on the downtown scene, including with the Downtown Orlando Foundation, with which she's helping plan this year's O-Ball.

The folks at Knight say she's a senior account exec and that they held a viewing party for her at the Vue -- during last week's episode, during which Amanda apparently received the coveted "first impression rose." As you might be able to see in the pic to your right, her friends wore "Team Meeps" shirts. Amanda's co-workers say that's in reference to her strange-sounding hiccups, which the Bachelor thinks sound cute and sound like "meeps."

This show sometimes makes me scratch my head. But here's wishing good things for Amanda. And if she goes deep, either Hal "The TV Guy" Boedeker or I may provide some more info in the paper.

Oh, I don't really think so. Anyone who has seen Tyra's show knows that models discard outer clothing to display items underneath, especially if it's a bathing suit. Now if the manner in which it was done was overtly sexual, then it would be inappropriate no matter who was doing it. Just to take off the cover up isn't anything odd, in my opinion.

There's another interview up on abc.com. If you go to the main webpage of abc, it is on the right and says "ABC start now: swooning over the bachelor". Matt is just as charming and hilarious as ever, and he speaks about being in love and the secret rendevous.
