I bet if she would have talked it over with Matt and the producers, who she was under contract to, I bet they would have talked her out of it. BUT if they knew and didn't try, shame on them. (personally, I think she made the decision on her own, without consulting with anybody)

Hopefully now that all this "negative" publicity has been surrounding this issue.. I wonder now if she may rethink her ways of marketing herself. I mean she's young, beautiful and some may think talented, but that doesn't mean that she is "smart" about her choices when it comes to her getting her name everywhere. Hopefully now she will make more choices which are of substance. I am sure she will succeed at that.

Thank you Armywife...I hope so too. I'm sure it just devasted for Matt not knowing they will face such negative publicity early on their relationship. I hope that Shayne's friends or Agents and family can advice her to publicly admit that she regret her choice. Well, I don't see anything wrong with it but for those who're hurts by it. I hope Matt stood up again for his lady to support her in making right choice if she think that this is part of her career. Wish them the very best...

FORTFANX - I think she will be OK too. I think this is a lesson learned. I think Matt will also guide her in the right choices that may BENEFIT her with positive feedback rather than negative... looking forward to seeing what's next for her/them!

I'm not so sure that Shayne is really all that upset by her spread in GGW. First of all her bff that she shared a myspace with before going on the Bachelor dated Francis. Secondly alot of actors don't mind getting whatever publicity they can (even the bad kind) for example look at Kathy Griffin. Thirdly, even though Shayne picked one of the most vile publications to be on the cover of, People magazine picked up on the story and covered her as well. People gets alot more viewers than GGW does (or I would hope so anyway). Shayne probably did not expect any back lash from her decision (reminds me of Brad last season) and once she heard about some of that backlash she decided to try and sound as if she just made a mistake. Shayne's spread reminds me of Miley Cyrus (although Miley and her family were smart enough to stay away from the likes of GGW and such) but the back tracking and saying they were sorry sure sounds alot alike to me.

I'm sure her bad choices has to do with her being friend with these people who own the magazine. I just hope that she learn from it and slow down a bit talk it over with Matt. He seems to be intelligent and could help her.

Someone at JU saw her myspace entry ... it also said that Matt was with her at the shoot.


ETA ... sorry, there was an interview today on Fox news with Shayne, and in the interview, she said Matt was with her during the shoot.
