I agree that some countries view nudity differently BUT being topless on a beach and posing for a smut magazine that's going to be looked at by teen-aged boys or dirty old men IS different IMO

Hey, I agree about the magazine and this Francis jerk. If you look at my posts on this issue, I have consistently said this magazine was the problem. I was merely agreeing with the poster about European attitudes and then as you read on, I said the problem was this magazine.

But someone said that Shayne posted on her myspace that she made a mistake but those who love her are sticking by her. If she is referring to the pics and this Francis guy, I will cut her some slack. I don't know a person on earth who hasn't made a mistake. Life is too short; she and Matt should just move on and enjoy it.

But think about another side of being a woman. In an early relationship, we all want a consistent reassurance from a man that we are #1 in that man's life. Some of us need it more & some less. In the same token of thought...some women actually feel a sense of security when a man is cutting down another woman..especially one that she feels she is competing against. Her mind might tell her that he's a cad for talking about the other woman, but yet, her heart which is the stronger of the two at the moment is having her overlook that fact because all it equates to her that he is choosing her first out of the two.

That's interesting. I hadn't heard that. Was she specifically referring to the GGW pictures or did she just not specify what it was?

I tend to agree. I think it was a poor choice of publicity, but as such, I think she is doing whatever she can while her name is on the airwaves..this unfortunately (or fortunately for some) may be her way of taking the bait while it's hot.
