Bachelor 12 Media Thread ~ Spoilers

Something to consider.

ABC (Disney) does NOT produce The Bachelor; ABC BUYS it from NEXT Entertainment (Fleiss) and Warner Bros., who actually produce the shows. When TB is "renewed", ABC essentially gives Fleiss/Warner Bros. a sum of money to use to write a storyline, hire the "cast", film the show, edit the show, and hand it over to ABC for airing.

Perhaps ABC found out about the shayne connection and the F1 fix this season and, realizing what a train wreck it could be, didn't want to be a part of it. Therefore, ABC has limited the B12 promos/commercials and scheduled NO appearances on the ABC shows (GMA, Jimmy Kimmel, The View) that TB would normally be on to hype the show.

ABC has pulled back on the hype for B12 while DeAnna's show is being given a blank check for promotion/advertising. Question is why?

For those who would like to know what it is like to be TB on FRC day - Matt was up at 4am doing those interviews. He did around 30 of them and to me he looked totally exhausted!

So happy that tonight is the FRC

That would certainly explain why Ellen Show (Warner TV, not ABC affiliated) has been doing most the flacking this season.

Matt did an interview with KOST 103.5 this morning. It almost sounds like he gave a shout out to FORT with the comments about NASA like analysis with the hand sleuthing LOL.

True, if commerical time is available. That's business.

However, appearances on ABC-owned shows (GMA, The View) is not the same as buying commerical (promo) time. And it's surprising and somewhat revealing to me that the only ABC show TB appeared on was DWTS and that was before B12 premiered. Also with ratings going down, it's reasonable to think that ABC would give the show a boost by scheduling appearances. But that didn't happen. In fact, ABC cut B12's airtime once Samantha Who? came back.

I just heard two back to back Bach commercials. 1st one Matt says "I'm in love with you." 2nd one Matt says "Will you Marry Me". I only heard them so I've no idea what the pictures were because I'm on here.
