ABC Upfronts (downsized, post strike) are in fact May 12 at Lincoln Center, NY. And Jimmy Kimmel is guest hosting GMA that day. Maybe Matt and Shayne will be on?? Jimmy K is doing Letterman that Monday night. He's also sitting in for Regis on Tuesday, and Howard Stern. Busy day for Jimmy!

I noticed that as well! At the end of the interview when they asked him about Amanda and her meeps he acted like he didn't want to answer, lol!

Cupcakes, thanks for posting the interview w/Matt and the pictures of all the girls!! Wow, the girls all look great and they look like they were having a fabulous time together!

And it was amusing how pointed the male host was that Shayne was there for the fame (only).

One of my favorite media moments for bach 12 was the post premeire Yo on E! interview. Right after Matt tells the camera -- not the hosts -- his charming anecdote about the London nightclub where his date was "boring the Sh@$ out of me" (waving his GIANT new watch around), Michael Yo utters the Truest Words of ALL:

"In America, women get on these shows just to become famous. DO YOU understand that?"

Interesting ... I was a bit surprised that the male host was familiar enough with the show to have such a strong opinion, but I hadn't thought about the talking points they would've received. I agree, his comments about Shayne were amusing - he sure seemed to think there were some serious red flags where she was concerned.

It sounded to me like he had just watched the pieces that we saw at the WTA...or maybe he's a serial bachelor fan! To me, it sounded like the female host actually does watch the show....

Yeah, I'm sure he just got it from either a summary or from some clips, but I thought it was kind-of funny how strongly he expressed his opinion. As jlccaz said, though, he was probably working from ABC talking points. Either way, it sounded like he was expressing a personal preference more than anything.

Yeah, I agree with you

The host was totally cracking me up how he kept trying to set up Matt to reveal his pick. Maybe it's Friday and I just need a chuckle, but I definitely laughed during that interview

I got the same impression. I don't think he really watched the show. He even called Chelsea Amanda.
