I'm in big trouble now. . .Matt was adorable, imo and I bought his line that he's deeply in love with a fantastic women. (paraphrazing here). He came across as having an off beat sense of humor, but looking for a classy woman. I liked how he felt it was important to be clear that he liked nothing about the thong incident.

I will not get involved with who he chooses, although sounds like Amanda to me, but I will watch again this season. If he is lying about finding true love with a classy woman he deserves an acting job.

He gave nothing away whatsoever, but the classiest choice of the f3 fits Amanda the best, all considered. jmho. She may be this season's Tessa.

Of course, it's very early.

Well, Ellen opened with a clip of Carrie can crunching and Matt's reaction. Then Matt walked out. He was wearing a suit, no tie. Scruffy face - actually the no shave look is great on him. He immediately said (during applause) "Thanks for having me , Ellen" to Ellen. And he said it again, after the applause died down. My overall impression was that he seemed very relaxed and was having fun. Much more relaxed than any others as I recall.

Ellen then referenced last season where the Bachelor picked nobody and said that "was rotten". She asked "did you pick anybody?"
Matt said "I picked the most amazing woman...... I am completely in love."

Ellen asked "which one is she? Is it Amanda... the FIR?"
Matt then immediately answered: "I actually have a present for you Ellen." It was pretty cute.

Then Ellen asked him about the Meet and Greet. "Was it exhausting? Was he thinking (like the rest of us when we watch) Ok - that one's history," etc.

He said: "The weather was foul. And it's hard to think of 25 different lines but you dont want to say the same thing to each."

Ellen asked "what is it about American women [that you like]. Matt answered that he had to fill out lots of forms detailing what he looks for in a woman. "Can ripping was a prerequisite. They delivered!"

She asked about the arm wrestler and wasnt that impressive. Matt said ,I'm competitive and I wanted to slam her.... but I let her win. He was really funny - great timing with the lines .

Ellen then brought up the underwear incident. Matt : "It was gross. Absolutely gross. [applause] I dont want America to think that in any way I saw that as positive."

Ellen" "you seem genuine and nice and real".

Matt - from Stacy - here's a present . It was grey boxer briefs twith Ellen' name on them. The two of them played around with that joke and Ellen then tried to give them back and shove them in his pocket.

Well I hope I got the quotes right. I'm about 95% sure, but I dont take shorthand. He was very funny. Now I cant wait for him to be on Kimmel. Jimmy's going to go nuts on the underwear incident.
I hope some of you got to tape it and will be able to watch it later. It was super.

Oh I can't wait to see Ellen! It comes on in the afternoon. I took the day off because its my hubby's birthday. He just rolled his eyes when I told him we either had to come home early or he had to wait while I needed to set the TIVO for Ellen.

He decided to wait for the TIVO to be set up.

I just love a man who will wait on a his woman to get her Bachelor fix!!!

I've watched a lot of Bachelor interviews, but have never seen one where the Bachelor tried harder to avoid the inevitable question "Is is _________?" When Ellen pulled out a poster with all of their pictures, he broke out in a wide grin. When Ellen persistently asked "Is it Amanda?," he laughingly said "Do you know I'd dead I'd be?" He had to look away and sober up fast, changing the subject to the gift he had for her. Most Bachelors keep their cool enough to manage a polite compliment about the girl being asked about. JMHO
