It all happened in Barbados on the reality show The Bachelor aired on ABC last Monday. The show follows a young bachelor who must choose a wife from among 25 women. Each week there are eliminations.

He was now down to the final three and the Barbados Tourism Authority (BTA) managed to beat out other Caribbean tourist destination to have the final episodes shot in Barbados, along the West Coast and at Hilton Barbados.

Since the programmed is watched the world over by millions, that bidding was certainly a master stroke for the BTA and its advertising agency. It would have given the island and the Hilton immeasurable coverage.

The bachelor talked about the island being the "greatest place on earth" and during the hour long show, Barbados was mentioned at least eight times.

Certainly a change from the ads which beckon "Come to Jamaica and feel all right."

Here was this handsome bachelor who came to Barbados and was feeling all right with his three beautiful women.

With this year dubbed "the year of romance" by the BTA the show apparently airs again in Barbados in two weeks.

If you missed is last Monday, check it out two weeks from now. You........................... will see that Barbados is a beautiful island and a place for sun, sea and yes...sex.

All I can say is YUK! I really want to believe Matt didn't have sex with any of the girls... Just the thought of him doing that .. 3 nights in a row.. different woman..makes me sick.

whats sad is that I am pretty sure he is not the only bachelor to do so...in fact at one point I think we got some information that some of them had a "contest" going to see which one could "shag" the most bachelorettes

I just copied the article down verbatim (except for one small piece that was irrelevant) - this is what the population of Barbados read. I think it was just what the author felt.

And probably without insider information from the housecleaning staff. Fleiss wants us all to make that assumption, going to the extent of falsely inserting Tina Fab slurping sounds.

And you just know if anyone besides the two behind the door would know, it would be these people.....

I wouldn't be offended to find out he slept with who he knew who he was choosing, but beyond that, that's just wrong.

I remember Trista saying she slept with Alex, but he had told her he was choosing her.

I agree! And I don't think the producers would allow Matt to decide the order of the roses at the RC's. That is too important for them to just leave up to the bachelor. For some reason they wanted Shayne to get the first rose most of the time. I mean all the suspense was taken of the season by the 3rd episode, so it really doesn't matter what the order of the roses was, does it?

I just remember all the excitement during Andy's seasons. Up until the day of the finale there was sleuthing going on as to who would be the F1. Both tessa and Bevin had huge fan bases and there was so much discussion. The board was on fire!! If you look at Chelsea's thread there are hardly any replies and any views (compared to Shayne's thread). What a dud of a season this turned out to be! There is more discussion on DeAnna's upcoming season than there is about the current one and the finale hasn't even aired yet...

That's why it makes me wonder if the connection was as successful as we are being made to believe. Why would Deana's season start the next week. Wouldn't Fleiss want the people to talk about the AMAZING love story longer than a week. If it looks like a rat smells like a rat it probably is a rat. To me something isn't adding up. I guess this can go down as The First Time In Bachelor History.

Because it was leaked even before the Bach started airing that Shayne was hired as a 'fall girl' and with her being F1 Fleiss had to do damage control ASAP!!!
