Hey, it may be bad for you, but damn, it's delish and fills a constant never-ending hunger for entertainment during those other six nights a week Lost ain't on.Desk Hookup called. See, our insider over at The Bachelor: London Calling (It's dubious the Clash had any say in lending their song title over to a televised dating competish) gave us some hints to picking this year's winner, since all the eps have already been filmed and edited. Turns out the winner of British boy-toy Matt Grant's (how Mr. Darcy-esque is that name?) affections is a flaxen-haired honey who "works in the Industry." Big shocker, eh? Way to narrow down the dolls. I bet every babe on the show considers herself an actress and/or model in one way or another, prolly since she's good-lookin' enough to score a sweet spot on the boob tube. When's the shy, mousy kindergarten teach gonna snag some reality TV ass?>

Pardon the french...but that was his text. Not mine. Wow...this kinda gives it up. I wonder if there is any truth in it?

I would disagree on Amanda's edit being blattant...I mean she was the FIR receiptant so they could n't exactly keep her hidden BUT she certainly got the most subtle FIR edit I have ever seen. She was barely on camera with exception of the her quick chats with him and two quick comments to the camera about him being cute.

If he's going to be appearing on Ellen tomorrow that means he taped the show today. I don't see him on the Kimmel schedule as of now, I would think that the ABC publicist would try and arrange both of these around the same time so that Matt doesn't have to travel back and forth between LA and London. This makes me wonder if Matt is staying in the states for the duration of the show. If he's in LA it would be fairly easy to see Chelsea or Shayne without much notice, but harder to see Amanda in Florida.

Also in regards to Shayne and the Ted C. rumor, Ted usually reports on hot gossip about A list celebs. Sometimes the rumors pan out, sometimes they don't. I'm not sure if this one is true or not, but we already know that Shayne makes it very far, so it's not out of the question that she is the F1. At this point I'm confident in the F3, but am leaning towards Shayne not being in the F2. Even though she is an actress, there are others on the show who are in entertainment as well. Noelle (has been in movies and tv shows), Holly (rumored to be trying to break into Hollywood), Ashlee (singer/songwriter) to name a few that we know of. This doesn't make any of them less sincere in their hopes of falling in love with The Bachelor.

I think that sometimes these early spoilers are based on info that someone hears (so and so makes it far or so and so was in....) and they make assumptions that that person "won". I just find it hard to believe that the winner could have leaked out already. Especially with Shayne being in the business. She knows the importance of keeping it quiet, at least for awhile. I would imagine that there were just rumors going around Hollywood about her being on the show and maybe ht visits and people jumped to conclusions.
I can't wait to see how she, Chelsea and Amanda are edited in the next few episodes. That will certainly begin to clear some things up.
I agree that so far Amanda is getting the "everyone's favorite" edit. Although her limited camara time with Matt and chopped editing still is in favor of being F1.

I say that her edit was blatant because Matt appeared, rather was edited, to almost rudely excuse himself in the middle of a conversation with one woman in order to give the rose to Amanda. I'm sure he was given a signal or something, but jmo, he looked like he was dissing the girl and c-ar-azy about Amanda. I thought he was leaving to give the rose to the girl he was shown, not in reality though, talking to at the time. It just could have been edited down a bit instead of making him look rude. jmo, but I absolutely got that impression from the edit and it made me suspicious.

My formula for picking the f1: is showing her in a positive light, but NOT as the apparent front runner in the race for the Bach's affections. My first impression was that the editors would have downplayed it a bit.

But hey, the f1 can be any of the f3 girls left standing. The season has just begun.

Oooooh, if anyone sees (in advance) that Matt Grant is going to be on Kimmel -- please post. I'm in LA and will try to go! I just checked Kimmel's schedule and Matt's not on his schedule up to March 28th.

If Matt is on Ellen's show on Thursday, it was taped today (Wednesday), as they tape a day in advance. That should be one giggly segment! I bet she has fun with him. And, with Matt's sense of humor, he'll play any "reindeer games" that Ellen throws at him! (Oh heavens, Pam Anderson is also a guest that day!)

As for the Ted C thing on E!online -- heck, he probably knows her dad. And, if it's PR for one, it's PR for both! If Shayne's not F1, her next boyfriend will be someone like Tommy Lee ...
