How reliable is Ted C?
From the "trash talk lingo" he uses in his post....I'd say not very.

I've always found that Ted C has decent Hollywood sources, more so than some of the others that "report" on Eonline.

Does this mean Shayne is the "winner", I don't know but it sure doesn't make me think it isn't her.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see if any different clues come out.

My hunch is that although the outcome is press embargeoed, it is often known in advance. Professional journalists routinely honor embargoes. EOnline is really no exception -- on Network programming, most of the posted Spoilers come straight from the shows themselves, or are expressly authorized to be shared as teasers during actor interviews.

But this season, if Shayne is in fact the final girl, that could well be a widely known "secret" inside Hollywood given her friends and family connections. Ted C. therefore may see no reason to sit on "scoop" that will be published sooner or later by everyone.
He'd have to feel pretty dang confident he was right to be bothered to post it a couple of days after the premiere. Why not wait and see if it pans out, or post it closer to the finale?

I just made all that up, but essentially I agree with the other posters that Ted C, having many more interesting celebrity tidbits to peddle, would not bother with this particular tidbit if he did not know it to be rock solid.

So, what's it all mean? Suspense, I guess?
--was Shayne cast to be the final girl?
--did Matt know that at first? Later? Now?
--was she cast to play a role but found herself instead actually falling in love with the guy?
--which, if any, girls suspected this along the way? will these confrontations be aired? [thinking back especially to "hadyouheard''s bitterly worded posts at ABC board]
--is the whole Shayne thing a "FOILER" setting up a different surprise ending?

I agree. I think Shayne is very beautiful and seems very sweet, but they do not seem to go together at all. There is not a huge age difference, but Shayne does not seem the type to want to settle down right now.

I don't really have a favorite yet, but there are a few others (Amanda, Kelly, Chelsea, Amy) that I could see him with before I could see him w/Shayne.

I guess we just keep watching to see what happens!
