I know, Chris H. is truly one of my favorite parts about the whole Bachelor experience. I love when Chris said "You don't know how big of a deal I am...". Also, I got the feeling Matt was pretty nervous, he kept fidgeting with his hands and shifting his weight from one foot to the other. Probably wanted to make a good impression on the "25 American women!". | |

He found love, could live either in the states or UK, should be a fun season to watch with all of the characters (he's hoping people will watch - this came from a question about a fear of low ratings from the last bachelor). |

Charlotte's personal sweetheart in the 12th installment of "The Bachelor" franchise snagged a rose in the first round of Monday's episode without embarrassing herself. Which was enough to set her apart in Monday's gigglefest. Kristine Heffelfinger, 32, who works at the fitness studio Your Flex Appeal on Carmel Road, was one of 25 bachelorettes thrown at British hunk Matt Grant, 27, a London banker. She introduced herself, making an impression by telling him she was from the Southeast and telling him, "Remember, Charlotte, N.C." She made the cut, in which 10 were eliminated. But she did it without fawning fanfare, like Ashlee, who whipped out a guitar and sang the most off-key song since the "American Idol" auditions. Or Carri, a church marketer from Oklahoma, who took a chunk out of a Coke can to show off. Or Shayne, 22 of Malibu, who is an "actress." She made this clear. Dramatically. Like it was nuclear science, only more complicated. She made the cut. I wondered when I saw the rose on a pedestal with the ocean behind it, and the weather was certainly conducive towards it too compared to London and Malibu. Swoon ~ this is going to be beautiful and romantic!!
