I just saw a short clip for tonight:

Erin S asks Matt what a crumpet is. Matt replies back in a jokingly manner that its like a muffin...

He also mentioned that he had very high expectations, and that you all(the bachelorettes) have come higher than that.

Also, they focused on Chelsea during the commercial alot...

What with the FULL MCDREAMY stubble thing going, I think we can surmise that Matt has chucked his London banking career for the moment.

He's quite appealing and totally cute. What a waste for him to be on this stupid show, facing a future career in short-lived cable television programming.

Hey guys. I think the article writer had seen the whole episode up until the rose ceremony; therefore, she saw who received the first impression rose. There would only be 14 roses left to give out at the ceremony.

"We couldn't tell anybody," Hope said. "We've been sworn to silence."

The show's publicists promise plenty of tension in the all-important first-impression episode. Ten of the women will be gone by its end.

The object of their attention is Matt Grant, a 6-foot, 5-inch businessman who claims to be crazy about American women. He says he's looking for his soul mate. Of course, according to a "Bachelor" blog, none of the previous bachelors has stayed with the woman he chose.

And the women have their own ways of getting noticed. Shayne is the daughter of actor Lorenzo Lamas. Marshana made her own dress. Chelsea arm wrestles Matt. Ashlee sings Matt a song she wrote for him. Carri bites a tin can in half. Stacey removes her underwear and puts them in the bachelor's pocket.

The publicity also singles out "Amanda, a stunning, all-American girl with a few tricks up her sleeve." Of course, both Amandas on the show are stunning and all-American.

Hope said she'll be nervous watching tonight's show because she doesn't know any more about what happens than any other viewer. She's also proud of her daughter. "I am thrilled that she would go for it," Hope said.

Sweetheart City girl gets shot at love on 'The Bachelor'

A popular sweetheart-matching reality TV show will have representation from the Sweetheart City this season.

Loveland High School graduate Noelle Drake is one of 25 girls competing for the heart of one man on the current season of “The Bachelor.”

Noelle’s parents, Larry and Teresa Drake, still live in Loveland.

Larry said Noelle moved to Los Angles five years ago to pursue an acting and photography career.

She auditioned for “The Bachelor” on a whim and got one of the bachelorette spots, which was a pretty big surprise for her parents.

“This is an exciting adventure for her,” Larry said.

Noelle, a 2000 LHS graduate, recently appeared in an episode of the Fox television drama, “House,” and had a small role in the movie “Red Eye.”

Noelle also works as a photographer and her work can be viewed at drakesistersphotography.com.

On “The Bachelor,” Noelle is one of 25 woman spending time with global financier Matt Grant, a hunky Englishman who’s catchphrase on the show’s trailers is: “Hi, I’m Matt Grant and I’m here to steal your women.”

Each episode, Grant gives roses to the bachelorettes he wants to stick around for the next show until there’s one left and the couple will then presumably have found the love of their lives.

The contest already has been filmed and Noelle can’t give interviews until she’s eliminated or the show ends, so no one spills the beans on what happens.

The first episode airs tonight on ABC.

Larry said he never had any concerns about his daughter joining the cast of “The Bachelor.”

“She has a very good head on her shoulders,” he said.

But he admitted there is some apprehension about how Noelle’s reality character will be portrayed in the show.

The Bachelor Comes to Barbados

The Barbados Tourism Authority must be salivating right now.

The Season Finale of the new season of the ABC reality hit series, the Bachelor, which begins tonight has already been shot and wrapped up and I have learned from a reliable source (an insider on the set) that the finale was shot in Rihanna’s home country of Barbados. Everyone who made it that far had a wonderful time on the island and the decision has been made!

However, I won’t go into how it ended because that just wouldn’t be fair now would it.
