I find it curious that they let the cat is out of the bag. Why not let the audience be surprised too? I am glad they did so know we lots to ponder and anticipate. Let's hope it gets at least equal time as Shayne since it appears that they have two separate meetings.

Obviously there is something going on between Matt and Amanda, as voiced by yet another bachelorette. I'm so frustrated that they are not showing it to us.

I feel exactly the same way kwtaylor.....why on earth with such limited time for Matt to meet her family, would she waste one millisecond of it, on this bizarre prank. I think it is silly too, and the whole thought of it, actually leaves me stunned, unsettled and wondering WTH was she thinking. Strange, and a waste of valuable time she is not going to get back. Go figure

Newbie here this year, although I did post a few times during the fiasco last season. Is anyone as upset about the shortness of the airing this year as I am? No wonder we can't figure anything out - there is not enough of anyone except Shayne to figure out Matt's "connection" with the other three girls still standing. It seems the other girls dates just start, there are two or three short scenes, and then back to Shayne and the drama in the house. If the girls that were sent home are saying that they want Amanda to win (one can only hope), then there must be a lot more of the chemistry that they are seeing. I have always thought that to be true, as he is always pulling her close, calling her "honey", and checking to make sure she is alright. I thought he also was really taken with her on their 1/1 - to me he seemed like a high school boy with a "crush" and then the "please, please, please accept this rose! I think he is fascinated with Shayne, but I can't see the relationship lasting. JMO

But don't you see? You have absolutely nailed it -- they ARE showing the only story that matters for you to understand HOW IT ENDS. The other "connections" don't matter at all. They are, as Noelle said, "Matter of Time" girls. They matter only as a block to create pseudo suspense.

They probably had to come clean quickly. Think of all the friends and family seeing the preview and knowing those were actors.

Maybe she feels confident enough in the relationship that it isn't a waste of time. Or she is just really good friends with Matt and thought this would be funny.
