| Re: Bachelor 12 Media Thread ~ Spoilers Only canoodling with Shayne? What? He's canoodled with everyone left on the show, except Noelle....And we know he canoodles with her in Idaho.... so any one of the F6 could take exception to his canoodling... However, if I was F1, I'd be MOST jealous of the interactions with Shayne... That's some serious tenderness he's shown her. |

I actually thought that 2 things jumped out at me on first listen: 1) "The Atlantic Ocean separating us" - As opposed to an ocean and land or thousands of miles... 2) I thought Chris H. may have inadvertently given us a clue when he said he was keeping Matt's chosen one company... I'm off to bed now but maybe I'll give a listen in the morning.

| Re: Bachelor 12 Media Thread ~ Spoilers Matt is so witty! Thanks for sharing the link.... here are some of the better parts of the interview (in case you can't listen to it, although its mainly chitchat) that might shed some light on things: MG: I'm completely over the moon on how it ends. It just very difficult right now, Chris, because I just want to be, you know, with that person and its difficult because obviously there's, um, an Atlantic Ocean dividing us at the moment. And, uh, also, you know, its not easy, for that person to watch the show and to see me canoodling with other women. But, um, snogging around with things. But that was, the show. And for me, kissing is very important. It sounds so cheesy... but you don't want to end up with someone who can't kiss. Or have it be like kissing a washing machine. CH: I've made out with a lot of washing machines, and its not cool. MG: Top loaders or side loaders? CH: I'm more of a top loader kind of guy. I tell you what, a little spin cycle, and I am done! Um... I don't even know what we are talking about any more. If it makes you feel any better, Matt, I know its tough for you to be apart from the one you love, just know I am keeping her company. MH: Actually, I thought you were talking about you. You-- us-- but no one knows about that yet. ..... CH: Overall, though, you did phenomenally well, though, because I've been through this with everybody over the last 7 years. And it was really refreshing to have a guy like Matt come on the show who had, who didn't fall into the same trappings as our other bachelors did, because he had nothing to base it on. He did, he had never watched the show. We had totally found this guy in this restaurant, in this pub in London, and so it was like doing it for the first time all over again. So it was really refreshing doing it with you Matt. MG: Thanks, thanks a lot Chris. I was going to say it was refreshing doing it with you... but... um... CH: Over, and over, and over again. That didn't sound good at all, did it? So, what you doing back home in London? I know you're visiting your parents. Are you just back in your old life? MG: No, you know, I've got a secret rendezvous with obviously with the Mrs. going on at the moment, so... CH: Where's, where's that rendezvous going to be? MG: Oh, I don't know if you've heard of... Kazakhstan. CH: I hear its beautiful there this time of year. MH: It is, but they've got some fantastic women there as well. She didn't like it as much because she had some fierce competition. Not that I see it as competition, but she does, so its unfortunate. But Kazakhstan is great for these secret rendezvous. |

| Re: Bachelor 12 Media Thread ~ Spoilers It's a country in eastern Europe. I believe it is part of the old Soviet Union. The movie Borat brought Kazakhstan to American pop culture, and probably British too. Borat is from Kazakhstan. ETA: It was definitely a joke ![]() |

Also, in the transcript that was typed up, it said that Matt said he had the rendezvous going on at the moment. When was this interview taped? I wonder if she is literally in London now...

The interview was taped this morning. So it would have been afternoon in London. I'll listen again tomorrow to that part of the interview, I couldn't tell if he was in the middle of a rendezvous or if they just have one coming up.

| Re: Bachelor 12 Media Thread ~ Spoilers I can't stop laughing. Both interviews were hysterical. I will never listen to Danny Boy with a straight face again! He hasn't given anything away...he could have said across the pond as well as the Atlantic - doesn't mean the east coast. I think Chris was trying to be funny with the, "I'm looking after her." That falls into the distance thing. He told another interviewer that they were secretly meeting in Khazakstan so that may a line he made up and is sticking to it. The one part I found very, very interesting is that he called her the Mrs. That means that, at least at this point, it is very serious. He does explain his snogging and canoodling in that it is important to see if one would be kissing a washing machine or not. Very logical. Yes - it would be hard (even though the remaining girls know he had kissed each of them) for the Mrs. to be reminded of that every week. In the second interview (in studio with Valentine) he didn't know what a "frat boy" was, and Valentine didn't explain it well enough to get the grossness of the term across. That was also funny. Thank you so much, Casualfan, for bringing these interviews to our attention.
