Yes, I see Noelle as the most 'guarded' around Matt, at this point. As much as I like Amanda and am rooting for her to be the f1, I still see so many characterisitcs of her/her story line similar to Danielle's edit.

Accounding to Zap2it, last night's show was in third place behind B-ball and Medium:

Kansas-Memphis Game (CBS) 11.0/17
Medium (NBC) 7.0/11 (better than usual for this show)
The Bach (ABC) 5.0/8 (worst than last week's initial 5.5/9 rating)

Looks like the Shayne Show isn't too popular on American TV's and couldn't hold the audience watching Samantha Who (7.7/11).

Is this the lowest rating for the Bachelor?

Well well. Fleiss is apparently reaping what he has sowed. Nice. Give your audience a bunch of contrived drama and a sham and voila! They use their clickers and vote. Fleiss: if we wanted to watch MTV or VH1 we could use our clickers and find those channels. We dont all want Rock of Love. Really.

Lynn7, I agree! I think hints were dropped when Noelle talked about not putting it all out there, but that it was there. I think he sees another side to her when she plays with the cow...(Sorry.) But I think an experienced rider, outdoorsy, etc., would be a different side.

I can totally see Amanda's "tricks up her sleeve" and I have to think that Daddy Lamas won't be able to help himself--he'll be shown.

The only thing I see as a Chelsea indicator is perhaps another side of her comes out when she dresses up in the vintage Western scenario.

This is just a last hoorah before getting serious in the real world.
Set up or not. Just isn't bringing me on board to watch.

Just not seeing the romance

I agree with your statements Bjaminsmom, they've got to give us some sort of pseudo-realism that we can glom onto to justify watching the rest of this season. Also, I loved the highlighted part. She, like Pamela Anderson is the stuff of teenage dreams, not real grown up male marriage aspirations in a wife.
My question: Where IS Brad in the televised media???? This smacks of PLo's season to me.

Yes - Noelle gets the ice skating and the fireside snuggle
Yes - Chelsea gets the sleigh ride, dinner and time alone with Matt at his cabin

The ski date includes Matt teaching novices Amanda and Marshana how to ski with mixed results. Expert snowboarder, Shayne, gets the kiss in the snow but Robin interupts...LOL...can't wait to see how this plays out. Then all four girls join Matt in a hot tub - this should also be interesting to see how they all interact.

It doesn't mention roses except for the rose ceremony in Malibu, so they all return home for the roses.

Noelle's dad is Larry Drake, but not the same Larry Drake as on LA Law (unless he has 2 wives and 2 residences, LA and Colorado).

We saw the previews of Marshana falling on her butt as she learns to ski, so would "mixed results" be that Amanda is a quick learner?
