Got an email from a reporter with the Tulsa World (newspaper) and they are running an article on Carri Perrier this weekend. It may be a short article since Carri (+ her family & friends) are playing by Fleiss' rules and not talking to the press until she's eliminated.

Will have to watch for that since I get the Tulsa World everyday. Carri is from around where my daughter lives in Oklahoma City.

Hanging with Bachelor Matt Grant at His London Pad

Will his fridge reveal the key to his heart?

ABC's unstoppable reality dating series "The Bachelor" headed across the pond to find its twelfth TV hunk, British financier MATT GRANT. So what does Matt, 27, have to offer American ladies? We got a peek inside his London apartment -- and fridge -- to find out!

"Welcome, 'Insider,' to my flat!" he says.

The mostly white, two-bedroom, two-bath apartment boasts a stunning view of the city and only a few dirty dishes in the sink! Inside his refrigerator? The usual bachelor pad suspects!

"Typical guys' fridge, right?" he jokes. "Filter coffee, a bit of ketchup ... "

Matt is the youngest of five boys -- all married. He earned a B.A. in modern history and politics from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, and at six-foot, five-inches, he was captain of the university's rowing team. He also plays rugby, cricket, tennis and skis, and he's dated American women before, he says, and adores their accents.

He may get more than he bargained for when he meets his 25 bachelorettes at 10 p.m. on Monday, March 17.

Among them are a hot dog vendor, youth minister, personal trainer and actor LORENZO LAMAS' daughter, TV soap actress SHAYNE, who plays teenage Carly on "General Hospital." But he says he's the man for the job!

"Yesterday, I was in a tube station in London, and now I am in L.A. with 25 ridiculously hot women."

Get To Know The New British 'Bachelor'

So, I was on a conference call with the new British Bachelor, Matt Grant, yesterday morning. I meant to write a blog about it immediately after I hung up yesterday but unfortunately I couldn't really understand half of what the guy was saying! It was partly due to his British accent and partly due to the fact that he was all the way in London and it was really hard to hear him. So, I had to wait for the transcript to arrive this morning.

I'm actually kind of glad I waited though because I tuned into last night's "The Bachelor: Where Are They Now" special which featured a long promo for this new season. From the looks of it 27-year-old Matt doesn't really seem all that interested in finding a wife. The promo made it seem like he was much more into partying it up with the girls despite his proclamation on the conference call that,

"I definitely found love."

He also definitely found one very aggressive lady who, it was revealed, slipped her thong into his pocket the night of the first meet and greet party.

"I was still in discussion with someone and she just tucked it into my pocket and a few minutes later, I sort of pulled it out and realized what it was. I was fully aware that wasn't you know standard sort of American ritual thankfully."

On this show nothing is standard American ritual.
So, what about the shows track record? Why do these guys continue to "look for love" when only one of the show's eleven bachelors (Byron) are still with their chosen lady (Mary) - and that one seems sketchy at best. Byron and Mary have been engaged forever and have yet to get married. Plus, there was that domestic dispute they had a few months back. So, my question to Matt was does he think he will do any better on a show with a 1 to 11 track record?

"I think if you go by track records life can be pretty dull. Those previous guys weren't me. It didn't bother me in the slightest."

Well, if he does find lasting love (although I'd bet any amount of money this union will be kaput by summer) how will it work out geographically? Would his new lady have to move to England or would he move to the states?

"It takes two to tango doesn't it? Any country is great. Just need to discuss it with the other one."

Somehow I don't think that discussion will ever get the chance to come up. Sorry Matt, the odds are stacked against you even if all those other Bachelors "weren't you."

Hello again everyone

I have been watching the latest trailer for the show and it looks really great.
I'm so pleased that Matt has been able to be himself and does not seem to have been restricted in his behaviour.
The Sean Connery impression comes through a few times and you have yet to hear 'Alan Partridge' but I know you will.
I have posted as many clips as I can get my hands on up on my YouTube site so go and have a look if you haven't seen them all yet.
Matt was apparently back in the UK last weekend but we haven't caught up with him yet.
I am desperate to see the show on Monday and I'm working on a way to view it in the UK but not having a great deal of success.
Can anyone help me, I am a Mac user and don't have a PC.
