Well I must admit, I did tune in to see The Bachelor and after a half an hour of Shayne, didn't watch her date at all, turned it off. I decided I wasn't watching the The Bachelor when they focused on Shayne so much. According to Ellen, she is a front runner. I doubt Ellen sluethes and if she thinks it Shayne at this point then it isn't (thank god). Anyway, I hope we get more of the other girls and less of Shayne. Otherwise, I'll continue to tune out.

I think that is speaks volumes that most people appeared to turn the show off around the time of Shayne's date...if she was all that captivating - I don't think ratings would have dropped that much around the time of her date!!

ITA. The most fitting description that matches Shayne which Matt uses a lot is the word, "funny." So far I haven't seen any evidence of Amanda's or Chelsea's sense of humor. Another thing that stands out in my mind is his saying that he knew he was "in trouble" the moment he saw her which is similar to his instant attraction (to Shayne) statement in Ep.1. Although he said Amanda is his ideal woman type, he did not say he was instanty attracted to her.

Not true....before he gave Amanda the rose he told her.... "the first moment I saw you...you blew me away."

I live in the Charlotte area but haven't heard anything about her interview but she is supposed ti be in the Style section this Thursday. Not sure if it will say anything about details or not. Will certainly pass along any interesting news...

I think it is absolutely hilarious that the number of viewers dropped off for Shayne's date. Does Fleiss need to go back to the editing room???

I love The Mole... glad its finally returning....

Regarding this show, its bound it get cancelled eventually...its one of those "matter of time" shows

Exactly, it appears that focusing on Shayne is not the ratings booster Fleiss thought it would be. It's a sad situation that the only woman who any of the super creative video artists can use as a star is Shayne because very few of the others have actually been alone w/ Matt. And by now in Andy's season, there were at least videos of Bevin and Tessa being cranked out almost daily.

The ratings are down. If this is a production with the F1 preselected by Fleiss, then he may have just shot himself in the foot.
Although it was rather clear that the majority of people wanted and expected some kind of a winner at the end ( at least final rose), they didn't expect her to be Fleiss's choice. If we find that out to be the case, that could be the nail in the coffin for this series.
