You're all welcome...This blogger/writer is a huge Shayne fan, and was over the roof excited that she ended up in his office. So when she says "you won't be disappointed"...I thought it was towards him as fan, that he would not be disappointed....IF you were a fan of Shayne, and she tells you that "you won't be disappointed"....how would you take it?....hmmm OR maybe she is throwing the guy off....lol...i have no clue, i am not good at reading between the lines.

I think he did say something along the lines that made us think for a second that Sheena could possibly be in the F2....someone else's parent/sibling said something along those lines in a previous season as well and the girl didn't make it past the F4...if I am remembering correctly.

But this "knowing" statement is out of the horse's mouth, so to speak.

I think it's easy to really read this statement of Shayne's TOO closely, and over-analyze. I think it means just what she says..he wouldn't be disappointed with the outcome. It's a subtle hint. Remember, she doesnt dare give too much away. I read that as a subtle hint, and I don't think f2 or f3 girl would have bothered to say that. JMO.

Unless of course all of the F3 girls were coached by Fleiss in what to say if asked about the outcome of the show. Just a thought.

I had a similiar take with the .."No regrets" comment
I also took the comment about "You won't be dissappointed as a reference to last season since they make so much reference to it in Chris H. interviews,etc.
She sounded more to me like a girl who has moved on..good experience ,fans will be happy it ended with a good outcome(she may know that if she was cut it was because he had strong feelings for another girl,like Amanda and that is what I get from that statement..but I don't think it is her at all...
Does she know this guy is a huge fan of hers..she sounds very casual about the whole thing

I found an interesting interview that Matt did w/the website Fancast. I don't think we are allowed to post links here, so I just quoted parts of the article:

I need someone with a good sense of humor to sort me out. Someone who can make me smile, someone who can make me laugh. Someone who is also just, genuine, a sincere individual. And, there’s a lot of shallow people in the world, materialistic people. Someone who has depth and substance.

So, Matt has said that his chosen one isn't materialistic? Did Shayne basically say she is materialistic w/her 400 pairs of shoes?


Here's is Matt's response when asked what makes a marriage work:

I’ve always wanted a chastity belt [joking]. You know, it’s about the connection, you know, you make sure that connection is always given the top priority. And always think that you would never screw over your friend, your best mate, would you? So why would you screw over your wife? As long as she is your best friend. Thanks for posting this. These quotes along with an earlier article which quotes Matt talking about how his parents helped him:

My parents don't - they're brilliant, they don't cast their opinions to me. They just, sort of, try and just make me aware of their observations and they never, you know, push in any way. They let me make my own mind up, but they do offer some very good advice, and they did through this process, so I've been grateful for it.

But it's really just - yes, I think it was in the lines of them, you know, it was a lifelong partner thing and the characteristics that get you as a partnership, as a team, as husband and wife or boyfriend/girlfriend, would get you through life, not just in the short term by the long-term characteristics.

Just going through those points with them, you know, where it really helped out. And you know, it made me realize that - I guess it's just, you know, in the early part of a relationship, you have that buzz, and that isn't always there. You need a depth and substance to get through all the hurdles and barriers that life throws at you and I think I was just getting - you know, I was aware of that, but just getting that across to me again was really helpful.

makes me think Amanda still has a chance in this. I just can't see Shayne being someone that Matt would talk about this way. From the quote about his parents I get the impression that they brought him back to reality. I think Shayne was his "fantasy". He's mentioned a few times that she's out of his league. We know he's starstruck by Hollywood. I think possibly he gets carried away but then comes back down to earth before the show ends.
Monday hopefully will give us a clearer direction for the season since right now we don't have any storyline except for Shayne.
