Quote: Zinnia ... Jenni's sky is southwest and has visible clouds. DeAnna's sky is south and also has visible clouds. The parts that overlap look simular.
Which, judging from capes post of the sky conditions on the 24th, would support the girls arriving within an hour or two of each other, with DeAnna arriving first due to the photographic sky clues as to the directional position of the sun, without hills.

Response quote: Zinnia ... I think that was just a hasty edit. That episode was originally scheduled to be longer, but ABC ordered it shortened the week before airing. So non date activities were cut. It wasn't meant as a sign against DeAnna.
I don't think it was a hasty edit, given it was a preview prior to the FIRST Episode which was not cut so much if at all, and showed the entire group of girls on the steps watching her. There also had been mention of "the hottest bachelorette" if I recall right, and that tease has not been repeated. So this would be important to include from a story telling perspective.

There just is more conclusive "beginning" activity shown with Jenni than with DeAnna, as well as more ongoing references tying it together, such as mention of roses, even with the dolphin ... but I could be wrong, and I hate it when that happens.

Sorry just commenting on the things you quoted me on...

I find it funny that now we are debating the date of the FRC ... those that are now debating this point are doing so because the 24th doesnt fit in with Deanna being chosen as the F1.
The 24th fits too. I'm just saying we're not sure. The date is mentioned repeatedly for weather purposes.

DeAnn'a sky is to the south, out to sea. We don't have a cloud cover report for that. And that weather station is automated, I believe, so the cloud cover reports are questionable even for that site, which is miles to the southwest of the FRC site.

I neither need nor trust those weather reports, as I'm not saying the sun is blocked by clouds for DeAnna. The angles tell me more.

But there is a large hill immediately west of the Stone Manor.

This may just be me and my eyes, but if anyone does find the data for the rest of the week, could you please just summarize it, or cut out the times - oh, say after 11pm or before 6am, that we are pretty sure don't apply? The density of text of all of that weather information just pasted in a big chunk is really difficult to look at. Maybe with a link to the original source so we can look if we're interested?

    Thanks to everyone!

This made me think of something else.
Since the sun set at 7:30 in August....why would they have both of the girls arrive so early?
I know the pretty sky is still developing...and they need all the time they can get before it's dark and all....
but even if the last girl is on the podium at 5, there's still a whole 2 1/2 hours until sunset.

A looooong time ago, or at least it feels that way, someone posted that chart with the more relevant times bolded. I am not sure who did it or where it is, but maybe someone will recall and be able to find the post and quote it here. Possibly it was soon after the 10/5 episode ?

I don't think the sunset is the money shot this year... I think there's something else we're missing as to why the shot needs to be taken while the sun is still up. Maybe something towards the North?

And, of course, there's that pic of Brad sitting in the dark. Can you imagine him sitting there from the late afternoon?

    12:00pm-2:40 Overcast
    1:45-3:44pm Scattered clouds
    3:49pm-4:40pm Few clouds
    4:45-9pm Clear

    OP-
Here is a weather reporting station at Point Dume. It is KCAMALIB6.

The time is the first numbers on each list. The cloud observation is after all the numbers at the end of the line. (If you really want to know what all the other numbers are PM me. )

Let me explain the abbreviations for the cloud cover observations:
    OVC is Overcast
BKN is Broken cloud cover is over 1/2, but not overcast.
SCT is Scattered is 1/4 1/2 the sky is cloud cover.
FEW is Few is 1/4 or less of the sky is cloud cover.
    CLR is Clear

The numbers following the abbreviation is the cloud height in hundreds of feet off the ground for example 006 = 600 feet or 013 is 1300 feet .

This was the report I was referring to. I don't know why the weatherunderground has a different report. This report originally sent by someone who ballons, so I'm going with her report.

Re: Part 4: "Spoilers & Screencap Analysis ONLY" **SPOILERS** - Bachelor 11

I guess this is a first post but I have been reading for years. Excuse this post if this has already been discussed.
I remember Bevin's FRC getting out of the car/walk SCs last year---trying to determine the time of day. At the very beginning of this, when Bevin's limo is shown, "just a real quick blip" the sky was bright daylight--then the rest of Bevin/Chris/walk was darker. TPTB darkened that entire segment but it was actually bright sunlight.

Could they have completely lightened/darkened Jenni or Deanna FRC segments?

    Welcome aboard CharlieBrown!

I went over the walk-in of Bevin's looking for shadows. There were none. All overcast. I posted about that Friday or Saturday in the part 3 thread.

I thought that was just a pun, referencing DeAnna's firebreathing trick at the second RC.
Is it too much to ask for some reality in reality TV?
