Personally, I don't have a favorite anymore. I wouldn't chose a person like Deanna to be my friend, as I don't care for that in your face "honest" snub -- I think people like that are often insensitive and unkind. IMO, there is no reason to treat another human being that way. Taking the high road, as Fleiss portrayed Jenni and Sheeni as doing, is classier.

I think the key here is in the edit - - I'm not sure she is a crass or Jenni as silly as they are portrayed. If it were true there would be more of a unanimous decision from all the girls. Sometimes people who go through deep tramatic experiences get a crusty edge to them. They aren't intentionally mean - are often misunderstand - and usually have a very tender heart on the inside (hence the tough exterior to protect it).

Just don't have a favorite except to say... Brad would be my pick if cloning was ever sanctioned by God!

Personally, I agree with you. However, I also have to agree with the post that says you can't help but love someone who makes you laugh! I adore people who make me laugh, though perhaps my sense of humor is a bit snarkier than Jenni's.

Brad certainly has been shown to have a sense of humor...

At the end of the day, I'll cheer for whoever he chooses and wish them both the best.

ITA with the first part.

And double agree with the last!

Right on!

Whomever he is in love with is really what it is all about because after the show, the reality is that it effects none of us anyways. I do wish whomever it is that they can really find happiness and love and grow together in life and love with a successful marriage.

I love people that make me laugh, too, but there is a time and a place for that, and to me, Brad has a dry sense of humor.

I know! It is their life and it's what they bring to it that counts. Sometimes I have to laugh when I catch myself debating whether B and J's relationship could handle the time/distance challenge. It's for them to decide.

Yes, I can see that. I know mine can be, and sometimes I can get misunderstood. Othertimes I am rofl about something I find hysterical and my friends just think I'm nuts. I'm relating to something in the little la la land in my head and laughing at myself. Oh well, at least I understand me.

For tears to roll all the way down your neck would indicate that she was unable to hold them back, or did not even try. This could also account for the fidgeting with her hair, leaning her head back and slightly to her right, the blinking, and her flushed cheeks. The amount of tears varies from clip to clip indicating that the scenes were not spliced in order. When Brad asks her to go to the Fantasy Suite, there are still tears on her neck, yet when she give her response, her make-up has already been refreshed, and she is as cool as a cucumber again. This means there were probably several retakes of their dinner conversations. I think the responses where you can see her tears and Brad's reaction without an edit are the most telling and honest, like when he pulls her in for their (hot ) kiss. This dinner scene was heavily edited, unless she began to cry very soon after they started talking, but I tend to believe that there was a great deal of conversation, meaningful conversation and not just filler, that we were not privy to. Her hair looked so beautiful when she arrived, I wonder if she put it up because it was getting wet and sticking to her neck . . .

I also noticed (ok, I confess I have watched this scene several times!) that their conversations from different parts of dinner are spliced together. Brad's facial expressions are from a lighter, less intense part of the conversation than DeAnna's facial expressions. There are several times where you see Brad looking relaxed, yet attentive, leaning in to her, and she is actually leaning into him with her fingers to her face and mouth, elbow on the table (from over her shoulder so we cannot see her face, and they are having what seems like pleasant dinner conversation, and she is telling a story). Those are the moments where he looks most relaxed and happy, yet when the switch back to DeAnna, it is at a much different point in the conversation, her more intense and emotional moments. The actual conversation is edited over with the more emotional statements, which is why Brad's body language seems almost seems too relaxed and at ease as DeAnna is declaring her feelings. That is also why, as lovely as it is, this scene does not add up for me. We missed Brad's actual reactions when she is professing her deepest feelings. It would be telling if he either had his arms crossed, or if he was shown stiffening and emotionally withdrawing slightly as we have seen him do when confronted with tears or when he is uncomfortable; or did he reciprocate her expression of love either verbally, physically, or was he moved to tears as well? I can tell that DeAnna's clips were heavily edited, but do we even get to see how Brad truly reacted? Is this what he means by he is 'too honest' and 'gives too much away'?

As much as I enjoy the body language, and is how I prefer to make my assessments, the editing has really tried to throw viewers off the track, and judging by the posts which question whether DeAnna is warm, caring, or even emotionally invested, well, I guess in some ways it is succeeding. Any thoughts?

Responding rather late to this - but also noticeable is when they stand up to leave to go to the room - their dinner plates/food are untouched.

I noticed that as well. They did not touch a bite of food from the looks of it.

I had my husband watch portions of the FD and the previews, and based on the body language/non verbal communication he picked Jenni as F1 without question, this makes me think that Deanna/Fleiss won. Doesn't Fleiss want the average viewer to believe the wrong girl is the winner?
I'd be glowering all the time if I had to spend more than two minutes with Jade and Hillary.

I noticed something strange beside the dinner. First her hair is down and she is playing with it, then we see it up and the bangs are messy. Look at the last scene the bangs are off her face and someone has come in with hairspray fixed her up right before she gets the card and they leave the restaurant. This dinner probably took hours.

Re: Body Language & Non Verbal Communication - *Spoilers*

I think all the dates are filmed for a long time to offer them options for the final edit. There is a producer steering the communication and positions they assume too. My post in the Editing thread gives my take on this.

It is extremely difficult to put much into talks and body language with the direction that we know exists. We really have to trust our guts far more than nit picking what we are seeing.
