| Re: Body Language & Non Verbal Communication - *Spoilers* I think that what we have seen through Brad's body language and the things he has said is a man who feels betrayed. By Bettina not standing up for him when her father spoke rudely to him and by not preparing him for the type of reception he would receive. Also, he has seen his efforts to please her called boring. No man's ego stands up to that treatment well. Notice how stiff and hard his body became during the conversation on the steps. Very angry man. JMO |

| Re: Body Language & Non Verbal Communication - *Spoilers* I think Brad's stiff body language is a tell tale sign too. You can tell so easily when he is upset. He even commented in an interview with Bobby Bones that he got in trouble for giving too much away. . . . verbally too. ![]() Okay. . this is a bit catty and I am sure I will get jumped on it. . .but I just can't stand the way Deanna's eyes batter and flutter. Okay...so she is wearing contacts and it is windy, but I watched her even without wind in the restaurant and she did it there too. That would get old after a while. I think it would bug him. Years and years of staring at that. Other than than, Deanna is great and I think he really gets her. |

| Re: Body Language & Non Verbal Communication - *Spoilers* ![]() From the How to Read Body Language on wikipedia.... "Lowered heads indicate a reason to hide something. Take note if someone lowers their head. If it is when he or she are complimented, he or she may be shy, ashamed, timid, keeping distance from the other person, in disbelief, or thinking to herself. If it is after an explanation, then he or she may be unsure if what they said was correct. "

EXACTLY....he is trying his best to hide from the camera that he is constantly holding her hand and pulling her into him to kiss. I know that we see this very differently and that neither of us will convince the other to see it our way. I don't want to try to persuade you or any Jenni fan either way. I just want to enjoy what *I* see in the show....fair enough?

2. The father voice concern to Bettina herself about those concern he had when sitting on the bench outside regarding the education, moving and Business. The stepmother was not nice but her mother was more worried about her daughters heart she was kinder. Bettina is like her mom more kinder but the stepmom is harsh 3. Bettina stood up for Brad to her father but Brad did not here this until aired. 4. Yes she should have prepared him for the reception but maybe in her mind things would be different never dreaming that it would go so wrong. 5. Unless someone told him before the show finish about her boring comment then he would not have know until it aired. Futhermore she I believe was talking about her self because she did not kiss him. She seems surprise that he thought the date was great because she her self said to him I suck at it.

| Re: Body Language & Non Verbal Communication - *Spoilers* I think it would be very telling if someone could post the kissing progression of Jenni and then of DeAnna. This should included hand kissing as well. Yes he kisses Jenni first and a lot until the pool date. This is where we see him choose to kiss Jenni over DeAnna while on the date but he says he wants to kiss DeAnna. Then pre RC he chooses to kiss DeAnna over Jenni. From then on IMO his kisses with Jenni aren't as intimate and his kisses with DeAnna start to intensify and increase. I really thought him laying on his back and not really touching Jenni while they were on the bed was pretty telling. But it could be just that he was aware of the camera's and knew his family would be watching. Hope this makes sense. |

| Re: Body Language & Non Verbal Communication - *Spoilers* I don't think we can tell from one isolated SC that has Brad's head looking down that he doesn't love DeAnna. If you go back and look at all the SC from the HT dates on, you can find several of Brad with Jenni in which she's looking at him, and he's looking down, or she's talking to him, and he's looking down, or she's smiling at him, and he's looking down, or even away from her. I don't think we could tell from these isolated screen caps that he "doesn't love Jenni" since he's looking down, or away from her in all those screen caps. ![]() |

I really was trying to use my post as a comparative to the original SC post in this thread. It was something referring to how much in love Brad was with Deanna based on the SC. I fully agree that you cannot determine someone's thoughts/thinking...body language from a single SC.
