It probably would have been very uncomfortable for him to invite Sheena to Cabo where she expects a whole romantic scene, where she may confess her much deeper feelings, she's expecting the Fantasy Suite card and to spend the night with him all the while he knows that he really doesn't like her like that. I don't think he is jerky enough to do all that and really physically lead her on when he's just not feeling it. At least with Bettina he knows that he is physically attracted to her and maybe they can move past the HTD, even though it was obvious by the dinner that he was not into it anymore.

I believe Brad when he says that he is an honest man. IMHO, he seems to be very genuine when dismissing the girls. I don't think she was a producers pick to stay at all. He told her his decision was going to haunt him and he had thought about her all day. He was attracted to her from the beginning he said so many times Sheena was an "ode" to Chad (I think) And if hadn't been for Chad's comments she probably would have gone sooner, great girl just not Brad's type. I also think Bettina's family was the beginning of the end for her..the whole HTD scene unfortunately played over into their FD, which created more awkwardness and controversy ... leading to her ending

At this point - Brad can't win with half the people watching the show no matter who he chooses. I think he didn't want to choose either Sheena, nor Bettina after the HTD because he'd already made his decision regarding both of them. But, as pajamasam said, he has to take 3 women on the Fantasy Dates. Someone is going to be "led on" in this situation, someone is going to be hurt. Period It's the nature of the show. Sheena didn't deserve to be led on any more than Bettina did by being invited on the Fantasy Dates. It's quite possible that he knew after the HTD that he just couldn't pick Bettina in the end, but that he felt he knew her better than he knew Sheena, so might as well take her. He also might have flipped a coin, or been told by the producers who to pick, or...

As far as body language analysis with regard to who's leaning into whom, I also believe that he has real feelings for both women, and that he's genuinely torn this time. This is actually one of the toughest seasons to determine who the Bach is going to pick in the end. I'm leaning toward DeAnna (hee hee), but I wouldn't be surprised if Brad leaned toward Jenni in the end. At the dinner with DeAnna, I saw heat and passion, and at the dinner with Jenni, I saw silliness, and giggly fun, but not much passion. Attraction? yes. Passion, no. If it was there, I didn't see it.

It could also end up that, like PLo and Travis, Brad is really more attracted to one, but chooses the other instead. This show can make people be fickle like that.

If he didn't care for Bettina, why is he still so angry with her? Imo, it goes back to what Lynn7 previously posted.

DeAnna is more of a facial expression kind of gal. I read more from her in what her face or eyes are telling me than what her body is saying...although most of the time she has the blinking eyes or slumped shoulders, which reads as nervous or insincere and non confident or bad posture, she is an interesting and complicated woman to be sure ...LOL Jenni has a little more depth, in terms of reading the whole person, which is why I really don't think he'll pick her. It isn't that she doesn't respond to him but more that her whole person is so easy to read and therefore his response to her is easy to read. I hope that makes sense.

I understand what he meant by saying that it shouldn't be that much work but I think he's living in a fantasy world. Any great, long lasting relationship, takes work. When it came to Bettina it only seemed to become 'that much work' after the HTD and he had been embarrassed and challenged about his being an intellectual or not (though the mothers, especially the step-mother, treated him with disdain). His ego took a huge hit and it seems as though he took it personally and hasn't let that go and has belittled her, publicly, to get back at her family, through her. I don't think that's right. The only way I know how to explain it better is when two people break up, and there are still emotions of love between them, and the guy is hurt, he barks back in ways that will make it impossible to repair the damage but he comes out appearing to be "the man" as Brad has said himself that he likes to appear to be.
