Brad has had more of a fantasy TV life with Jenni and DeAhna during the show. Surprisingly the one person he said he needed to open up to him was taking her time. Instead he ends up showing different sides to his personality to Bettina. He was compassionate, kind, patient and then BAM! after HT date he got confrontational, angry, frustrated and distant with her. He saw the way she handled the HT date and yet gave her a rose. His ego was hurt and he still felt something for Bettina but he was angry at her folks and punished her for it. That clip of preview for WTA is a good example of it.

How will Jenni or DeAhna handle the REAL world REAL emotions from him? He has had the rosy fantasy life with both of them so far. He said he had spent not more than 30 min with each of these women each epi. So that would mean he had spent 3 hours with each of them until FD. How could these women know him enough in 4 days to decide that they would match well? It's not like they are committed and will work through whatever the future holds. If that were the case they wouldn't have to be on this show looking for a better or bitter half.

I agree, I really can't think of any time that DeAnna came off as sweet and caring to me. I have seen many examples given but I sure did not see her that way in them. I find her rude, bossy, and extremely smug.

I think Brad meant that he hadn't spent more than 30 minutes alone w/any of the women before the FD. Before they get to the FD's, Brad has spent hours upon hours w/these women - but it is all in front of the cameras. The FD's are time for the bachelor to spend some quality alone time w/out the cameras there recording every move.

Brad is still showing raw emotions with Bettina. It's clear that he is still very upset that Bettina's family did not believe that he had real feelings for her.

Then Jenni is hiding because what person, when they REALLY like someone, isn't jealous at times, especially in this situation? It's not like they're a bunch of Buddas running around. These are everyday, ordinary YOUNG girls and to not be jealous or feel threatened when things aren't going your way isn't NORMAL.

Re: Body Language & Non Verbal Communication - *Spoilers*

I have been watching the videos for both girls. He seems to have chemistry with both. I was such a Jenni fan after watching her videos. . .but I have to say now I am confused!!!

I have watched and watched and watched. . . . .just so many factors. I am trying to not let all the outside - rumor - speculation (of which we do not know if any are true) get in the way of what I am seeing.

Grrr....

I don't think there are any raw emotions concerning any attachment to Bettina - perhaps lingering anger at the way he was judged by people who did not even try to know him. And perhaps with Bettina's supposed cluelessness about the situation.

He explained why he gave her a rose - because of her
He explained why he did not give her a rose - because of her

I think Bettina's comments at the WTA show she still had no clue about who Brad was - except that he was The Bachelor

I actually disagree with this. I didn't hear any explanation (in the preview anyway) of why he did not give her a rose. And when someone points a finger at you, I would consider that intense if not raw emotion.

I'm sure she was feeling it but she choose to walk away instead of making nasty comments or causing others pain.

The difference is maturity in the way you handle yourself.

I thought Bettina asked him why he DID give her a rose.

Pretty good, answer, IMO.
