Our bodies may not necessarily go along with what our faces and lips are indicating. For example, trial lawyers are very good at convincing the juries with their facial expressions because that is, more than anything, what the jury is paying attention to. We, as sexual human beings, generally, respond to physical touch more than we do looking at a persons face or lips (though I'm the exception, out of necessity, I'm sure).

DeAnna is more of a facial expression kind of gal. I read more from her in what her face or eyes are telling me than what her body is saying...although most of the time she has the blinking eyes or slumped shoulders, which reads as nervous or insincere and non confident or bad posture, she is an interesting and complicated woman to be sure ...LOL Jenni has a little more depth, in terms of reading the whole person, which is why I really don't think he'll pick her. It isn't that she doesn't respond to him but more that her whole person is so easy to read and therefore his response to her is easy to read. I hope that makes sense.

I understand what he meant by saying that it shouldn't be that much work but I think he's living in a fantasy world. Any great, long lasting relationship, takes work. When it came to Bettina it only seemed to become 'that much work' after the HTD and he had been embarrassed and challenged about his being an intellectual or not (though the mothers, especially the step-mother, treated him with disdain). His ego took a huge hit and it seems as though he took it personally and hasn't let that go and has belittled her, publicly, to get back at her family, through her. I don't think that's right. The only way I know how to explain it better is when two people break up, and there are still emotions of love between them, and the guy is hurt, he barks back in ways that will make it impossible to repair the damage but he comes out appearing to be "the man" as Brad has said himself that he likes to appear to be.
Lynn you hit the nail on the head again. Excellent post!

ETA: Did you notice Brad's reaction to Bettina during the WTA Preview??? It's VERY telling imo.

Whereas DeAnna, and Bettina, for that matter, have been shown to be more layered: sometimes sweet, sometimes fiesty. I like that in a woman myself.

And therein lies the rub. Notice what I bolded. NO ONE is happy all the time. It defies the law of balance. It really makes me wonder what Jenni is like behind closed doors when she isn't giddy because as big as her highs are, she must crash like a m'fer. And for this, my heart goes out to her. I'm not saying anything about anything but I do know that what goes up must come down and, in this way, Brad doesn't know her at all.

I agree that Jenni just has to have down times. However, I have several good friends who seem to be a lot like Jenni in that they truly see the glass half full, happy most of the time. They have their other moments upon occasion, of course, but they are rare. Joyful is their true take on life. I really admire them for it. I can't say about Jenni, but my friends are the real deal.

I'd like to go off track, for a min. Can anyone tell me exactly what "props" literally means? (I saw it in someone's post.) I understand that it means acknowledging hard work, or job well done. Bt what word(s) does it come from? Is it an acronymn? I know, I'm a . Thanks.

My understanding is that it means paying "proper" respect to someone. Giving them their "props." I could be so wrong!

lyb,

I am not sure which post you are referring to.

When I say props, it means the things that are added to the set/room etc, to make it look different or give a feel. Think stage props etc.

He has not seen Jenni on his bad side. How will that go.

He knows that DeAnna says it straight, so at least he will know where he stands with a situation.

Even when confronted by the girls regarding the kiss Jenni did not get snippy. I think she is more even tempered.

Unlike Deanna when things aren't going her way. Like the numerous times Deanna said it like it was and came off as jealous, callous or mean.

Actually, MomLady, it might have been your post. I do understand the word in your context. It may have just triggered the long time question I've been wondering about. Thanks for responding.
