| Re: Body Language & Non Verbal Communication - *Spoilers* One other little body language thing (because Lord knows I haven't analyzed this to death enough), it is true that Brad does not lean in while talking with Jenni. They actually are both sitting back a lot of the time. He keeps his hands crossed in his lap even when he is having the playful "Find the Fantasy Card" interaction with her. Also his face seems tense. His eye contact with her is limited particularly in the conversation after the dolphin swimming, which is unusual for him because he's really good about looking people in the eye. Most of the season with Jenni he has seemed relaxed and smiles a lot until last week at the hometown date. The first time I noticed discomfort or poker face was when they were having the discussion at the theater. He maintains eye contact for almost the entire dinner with Deanna. He also maintains physical contact with her for much of the time as well. |

I think it blew his mind how she showed him up in the dune buggy, then she laterer ribbed him by saying "If I drove like that I'd be lonely too". His PI when he was talking about the race was so cute, his face was beaming with joy. I do think that DeDe is a strong woman, but even strong women need that soft place to fall. | |

| Re: Body Language & Non Verbal Communication - *Spoilers* To all of our body language experts here: What do you think about Brad's body language in his PI('s) about DeAnna during the fantasy date? I noticed that in the one where he wears the striped shirt (the one that actually occured before or after their last chance date) he makes quite a lot of gestures, for example when he says "I can see a lifetime with DeAnna", he moves his right hand to the side as if to emphasize his statement, but I think there's more than just that one... How do you interpret that?

| Re: Body Language & Non Verbal Communication - *Spoilers* Every couple has times when they're not getting along with each other. Everyone has a "bad" side, and a "good" side. It may be that Brad has a raging temper, but we've just never seen it in this context. Who knows? I do know that my husband is Mr. Even Keel emotionally, and I'm direct, outspoken, sometimes B*tchy, emotional, sarcastic, competitive, etc. and I've been married to one man for 20 years, and he loves me this way. Men don't always want passive, constantly sweet women who don't challenge them. Some men like feistiness - like my husband. Of course, like DeAnna, I can be sweet, loving, kind, open-hearted, warm, etc. She's just being contrasted with Jenni who has been shown to be (whether she's actually like this or not) happy all. the. time. Whereas DeAnna, and Bettina, for that matter, have been shown to be more layered: sometimes sweet, sometimes fiesty. I like that in a woman myself. ![]() |
