This scene confused me too, because we really didn't see the "set up" for this. Maybe she had said, I'm worried about what might happen or something along those lines. It didn't seem he actually looked "away" and was disinterested in the answer. He just seemed comfortable with her until she then expressed worry about setting herself up for disappointment. For all we know those two pieces were reversed.

I really thought Fleiss was having some fun with us on this one. On surface sunflowers look good for Jenni and skeletons = death (of romance?) for DeAnna. But, I believe that holiday is actually quite religious - All Souls Day? So really pointing to "soulmates"? Hmmmmm.

I am however, happy I saw they very same thing you did because I know I'm not seeing things. I have tried to discount this, because as said, I'm looking for Jenni signs, but my Dad used to try to hide what I called his "secret smile" and it always meant something good was coming. So for me that was a strong sign and I can only discount it by saying maybe it was camera awareness or the producers were prompting them in that scene. You know ... "DeAnna, you're not selling him a house, for crying out loud." ![]()

Thank you for bringing this up!! I was bothered by the skeleton figures and thought "kiss of death" to their romance. But the Day of the Dead is a very religious and sacred holiday in Mexico / celebrated in the US on Nov 1st as All Souls Day. Therefore pointing to "soulmates" makes perfect sense to me ![]()

| Re: Body Language & Non Verbal Communication - *Spoilers* One thing about the Brad/DeAnna date I noticed is that they left perfectly scrumptious deserts (untouched) on the table. I play the scene again just for a glimpse of the goodies. I also noticed that the Margarita glasses were not empty - whether that was first or second round, who knows...but with the intensity I could palpably feel between them, maybe they didn't have the time or inclination for another round. Did you notice during her hair-up declaration that his eyes were so dilated you could barely see that luscious blue iris? Her's were very dark as well. Energy levels were humming between them.

I couldn't remember if it was you or Lemondrop that was deaf. My hearing loss sounds similar to yours. If the volume is up really high I can hear things but, most of the time, the high volume is too uncomfortable for other viewers watching things with me. Actually, I only turn the volume up for when I watch hockey games because the close caption interferes too much and is generally inaccurate to the point that it's distracting trying to figure out what they are saying. I, too, have hearing aides but I don't like them so I only use them in certain situations.

Too, true! I hadn't even thought of that! I always think I wouldn't be able to eat because I'd be too nervous - or worried about spilling. Nothing like crumbs in the cleavage!![]()
