He did say that he had to explain that things aren't always as they seem, particularly on the Fantasy Suite date, to his grandmother.

| Re: Body Language & Non Verbal Communication - *Spoilers* Grandma: " Why I declare! I'm goin' have a word with that young'un. He was raised better than that...shillyshallying around on that bed in front of God and everyone. Why, I didn't even kiss his Grandpa until we were engaged. What's this world comin' to...these young gals paradin' round half naked. Where's her mama? What's she think of all this carrying on....." |

| Re: Body Language & Non Verbal Communication - *Spoilers* OK, watched it with no sound and I've changed my mind...DeAnna. Whether she feels the same way about him, I don't know. But he seems pretty smitten with her. It's been argued that she initiates their kiss after her "I'm falling in love w/you" comment -- but watching it again, it's clear he pulls her in -- he is holding her hand under the table and you can see him initiate that. |

| Re: Body Language & Non Verbal Communication - *Spoilers* It often helps me to watch without the sound as well but that is more because I usually start cringing at the conversation within the 1st five minutes and literally can't listen to the things being said. Sometimes I have to cover my eyes as well... |

| Re: Body Language & Non Verbal Communication - *Spoilers* I am assuming that if he and his parents lived in Georgia until he was 12, then Grandma may be from the Deep South as well. I am from Alabama, and my grandma was from Mississippi. That dialogue sounded just like my grandma, only she might have had a few more things to say on top of it. Where I come from, it doesn't matter it you're grown. You're grandma is still you're grandma, and in some ways you are still more accountable to her than you are to your mother as far as not wanting to disappoint her. I understood that remark quite well. |

I said the same thing about the bed. The bed is way to intimate. Even though Jenni and Brad kissed on the hammock, it does not have the same stigma as the bed.
