I just went listen and your right Bjaminsmom, Bettina doesn't say Jenni's name at all, but she could still be talking about Jenni.

I know that it no longer makes a difference, but I've started rewatching some of the episodes today... Has anyone made comments on the Solisa / Brad one on one at the beach date? Did they already know each other? It seems like they're both trying hard not to start laughing about half way through the interview.

For those among you who think that Bettina's comment wasn't about Jenni because of the editing,please visit the abc page and click on recap , there it's loud and clear that Bettina said such and such because of Jenni's first kiss. Why would they put it into words if it were not true.

wasn't that in the 30 minute uncut video? The intereviewer also at one point says something about him finding someone and states that she and the crew think he did and he just smiles. Becca points out all these little details to us dimbulb males.

I took it the same way. What I think maybe was going on is that the girls were talking about Jenni, saying she was a slut. Then they learn that Jenni lied about the moment she got her first kiss. That's when Bettina jumps in the conversation and says sarcastically so she's a slut and a liar.

I may be wrong but I was listening specifically for that and didn't hear it.
I will say that I am 100% positive he chose someone (however it all turned out with the twist etc.) based on a things he said very openly in the interviews. Just a few of those are (not verbatim)

He said he was deffinately watching (his chosen one) more carefully

he said he was surprised by some of the comments of the ladies but it didn't change the way he felt about (his chosen one) that he felt he knew her pretty well

he said (his chosen one) of all people would know how uncomfortable he was with doing interviews and stuff and would just want to be there to comfort him

he said he had some explaining to do . . . to who? Must be (his chosen one)

There were more quick and candid answers that certainly didn't sound scripted when it came to (his chosen one)

I have to hand it to him, he really knows how to keep it close to the vest. So to speak.

I do not remember hearing it either, Logomaniac. Maybe someone can specifically point out when it was stated by Brad.

Given the bad edits of the women and the good edit of Brad, it appears that Brad did his job, so if there is an unhappy ending then it must rest on the F1's part for the ending to not go well.
