Bettina's words were... "So, she is a slut and a liar." with the emphasis on the word and.

Snarky or not, the truth of the matter is-- that's what came out of her mouth, I'm not making it up!

Right before that she said "I always thought Jenni was the sluttiest in the house."

Then right after that, when they say that Jenni had told them all that her first kiss was the helicopter date--(after Brad just told them in was at the beach), Bettina says:

"Wow, slut and liar."

You know I love you Bugs! But that is not a very funny joke to me.

Fleiss has thrown all the women under the bus this season at some point or other.

I may be wrong but I was listening specifically for that and didn't hear it.
I will say that I am 100% positive he chose someone (however it all turned out with the twist etc.) based on a things he said very openly in the interviews. Just a few of those are (not verbatim)

He said he was deffinately watching (his chosen one) more carefully

he said he was surprised by some of the comments of the ladies but it didn't change the way he felt about (his chosen one) that he felt he knew her pretty well

he said (his chosen one) of all people would know how uncomfortable he was with doing interviews and stuff and would just want to be there to comfort him

he said he had some explaining to do . . . to who? Must be (his chosen one)

There were more quick and candid answers that certainly didn't sound scripted when it came to (his chosen one)

I have to hand it to him, he really knows how to keep it close to the vest. So to speak.

She never sai Jenni's name in either instance. There was a VO that said, "I always thought she was the sluttiest in the house" and the slut and liar comment said "Wow, a slut and a liar" If we are going to talk about editing and how it points to one person or another then this has to be accepted that it COULD be an editing situation when she was talking about ANY of the girls. It was not Jenni in particular. There have been many posts that have talked about the editing of this scene and how choppy it was. Bugs was stating that it was a joke. There are several people who believe she has a witty and sarcastic wit and these girls are eons behind her in understanding sarcasm and wit.

If calling somebody a slut and a liar and saying that a date with the guy you claim to be falling in love with was boring and sucked is meant to be funny and nothing but a joke (you called the first one a joke, Bettina said the second statement was a joke), then I definitely have a weird sense of humour, because I don't think this is funny at all...

They were all talking about Jenni's first kiss. She said it about Jenni. It explains why she and Jeni don't get along too.

But whoever she said it about, Jenni, Solisa, or any of the women--I personally don't find it funny.

This was right after one of the girls (DeAnna?) said something like.. "she told us that their first kiss was on the helicopter" and was immeadiately followed with the "wow, slut and liar" comment from Bettina.

I'd have to rewatch the episode, but I am pretty sure the comments were in the same camera shot (with no cut outs) so she was definately talking about Jenni.

Either way... the truth is that Fleiss chose to include that in the episode for some reason, when he easily could have left that part on the cutting room floor.
