Ditto here. I'm leaning towards Jenni winning (though I reserve the right to change my mind at least 72 times in the next few weeks) because it could easily explain the lack of publicity about a proposal. He already knows she's got commitments for the next 9 months or so that she wants to fulfill. Rather than give her an engagement ring, he could have picked out some other type of ring to give to her that night -- maybe something that is personal to them (a nicer version of Tessa & Andy's dog tags) and commits to a long-distance dating relationship. Hardly original or "shocking", but plausible (at least in my mind).

Or maybe he'll buy a bar/restaurant in Phoenix and move there for a year to get the business going.

they show brad footage of all the girls ripping each other's hair out, each one claiming he's THEIR boyfriend....he gets nervous, bows out gracefully, chooses no one, and stares blankly at a ring box that ended up being a big waste of money...

Brad to F2: This experience has been really draining on me, what with all of you crying almost every night (and day, for that matter). I've seen some criers in my bars, but mostly, they were drunk and I don't think you gals were (or maybe, I'm wrong and they've been plying you gals with unending supply of liquor. cough.. cough..). Sorry, getting sidetracked. In the end, I just have to go with the one that didn't cry at all. Saves me on my dry cleaning bill.
Brad to F1: You were the only dry eyed bachelorette and so I offer you this rose.

I didn't read the entire thread, so hopefully this is original

We see Brad waving goodbye to two limos because he has said to himself around F5, you know, I know already, there is no need to continue the cherade. He sends all the other women home and proposes to who else but Jenni.....................Why keep giving hope to women you know you don't want.

Maybe he says - I choose none of these women. And after the edit they are all getting , the viewers will sympathize. Then Fleiss offers him a second season , since he is the.hottest.bachelor.ever.

My guess (really, not a funny one) is that Bettina is F1 and she says no - she really likes him but there is no way she'll commit after only 6 weeks, which in reality was only a few dates with him. She made it clear last night that this is NOT a game and she knows how hard marriage is. She likes him, maybe even loves him but she's not starry-eyed girl with dreams of a cinderella wedding and a house with a white picket fence. She knows what life is like when you rush into a marriage without thinking maturely and clearly.

Any one agree with my guess?

foodgal - I can definitely see this scenario happening, yes. I feel Bettina is still the most mature girl there. she's been through all of this once. She's naturally going to be more cautious, and maybe isn't ready in six weeks time to marry Brad, even though she does really like/love him.

foodgal, I agree. That would explain the "most shocking ending in Bachelor history".

It could happen.

I'm now leaning toward him choosing Jenni, however. I think it's possible that Fleiss might be pulling a fast one on this group by hiding nothing. So the last thing we see is Fleiss himself, cackling madly and saying "take that, FORT sleuthers!" while in the background Brad and Jenni make out.
