Yes, I posted the ABCmedialink about Brad being on Wed. 10/3 yesterday.

I'm going to post here the recap from the ABC home page on the BAchelor which is worth reading (you have to scroll through several pages), because I think this is a review of the original 90 minute show bec. they mention a lot of things let out of last night's show.

TV Ratings for The Bachelor episode 2

9.58 million viewers and 3.6/9 in adults 18-49.

Second in time period behind CSI:Miami, and beating Journeyman by over a million viewers.

Comparisons:

B11 Premiere: 9.57 million viewers and 3.5/9 in adults 18-49.
B10 ep 2: 9.23 million viewers and 3.4/9 in adults 18-49.
B9 ep 2: 7.98 million viewers and 3.1/7 in adults 18-49.

The normal fall-off for episode 2 is about a million viewers. The Bachelor 11 increased viewers! (By 10,000.) (Both B10 & B11 were paired with Dancing With The Stars, B9 had no lead-in to speak of.)

This is the best performance by The Bachelor ep 2 since B5 (Jesse) in 2004.

I expected the show to do well enough, but this is surprising. No Bachelor has ever held it's premiere ratings through the group dating episodes. (They do improve when it gets down to the 1-on-1 dating.) More than a million and a half viewers improvement over Lorenzo's second episode, Wow! Brad's episode 2 was even a half million viewers bigger than Lorenzo's premiere!

I watched Ellen today for her opening of show chatter about The Bachelor, and I thought I read about it on this thread...oh, well...anyway, she was her usual funny self and brought out Solisa on tape in all her glory...the body shot vs. morals and values speech. What was really funny was that the last guests were twin boys in their early teens (Disney Channel show) and when she asked if they had girlfriends, one said, "No, we're bachelors." And the other said, "I'm looking for a girl with Christian morals," in a tone of voice that took her back to her opening. I guess you had to see it.

I hope she features a clip every Tuesday...and I'll search for Brad's appearance.

ETA: I couldn't find Brad yet on the Ellen website, but I did find out that her new DJ is Ted Stryker who also hosts Loveline, the radio show Andy was on...umm...

Those boys are twin brothers in the hugely popular hit "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody." They are almost as popular as Hannah Montana.
I know, I have an 8 year old tween girl at home.

I would have loved to have seen Ellen and the Solisa clip and their comments. It is good TV, and Fleiss knows it!

Has anyone tried to view last nights episode ( video ) on ABC? I can't get it to play. Just wondering if it's my computer or if it's ABC. Does anyone know?

Since watching the show on Monday night we've been expecting someone to pick on on Solisa's comments. Ellen is great. And about Solisa's chest ... my hubby said her speech to Brad would have made sense if "the girls" were named "Morals" and "Values"

Then of course her skinny dipping would make sense.
