Yours was a great post and I agree with you. .... This line really strikes me funny, though -- Wow, it's taken Tessa over two whole weeks -- while Andy's seeing 24 other women -- to begin to trust his and her own emotions. That is slow slow slow ... How these shows really do warp our perceptions of reality! For one thing, when I watch it I feel that my real time is the same amout of time (or less, even) than they're taking, when, in fact, their world is whizzing by at two or three times the rate of ours. Nevertheless, what you point out is very interesting about how there are characters to fit in with the different personalities of viewers, and that's at least partly why people get so invested in and convinced of the rightness of completley different pairings. Interesting.

| Re: Everything 'Non-Sleutherish' Goes Here! **Spoilers** I think the love story at the final 6 is an urban myth also, unless someone caughs up the proof. I know I did hear Andy say we will know who he wants to be with with the F3. He hasn't seen the show, so he doesn't know how it will be edited but I think his point is, that the love is so obvious, that even editing cannot hide it. This was definately in an interview.

| Re: Everything 'Non-Sleutherish' Goes Here! **Spoilers** Another thing I was thinking about the leaked video also. If she were allowed to privately tape something, and then sent something to a friend (or shared it with a friend or her computer was hacked or WHATEVER), why wouldn't there be some juicy stuff PAST the F3 date? I guess she just taped a few little boring snippets? Or does she not make it past F3? |

yes I believe he said that the f3 cut was the hardest. and that the Love keeps growing and I remember something about it will be hard not to show. So I say hang in there and wait for for the overnight dates... It will become clear. As Mud ![]()

I highly doubt Bevin is the "winner" because wouldn't she be in total bliss knowing the outcome? Wouldn't she be content knowing that she and Andy are engaged? What is there to prove or show off if the world will soon know you and Andy are in love? Wouldn't the FRC show all the love story? Now work with me here... if you are hurt and feel the need to show someone that there really was a connection, that he really did have feelings, they were genuine weren't they? Wouldn't you show off the video? It's as if to say this was real... how could I not be the one??? Whew... so glad to get that off my chest. I really enjoy all your posts. You have entertained me for hours! |

| Re: Everything 'Non-Sleutherish' Goes Here! **Spoilers** I can buy that Bevin (or one of her friend) leaked the video. I cannot buy that her computer was hacked. Look at what she does for a living, and look at her schooling. There's an outstanding chance that her PC is secured by one or more academic security systems (Stanford and San Jose State). Sorry, I just can't get into the whole hacked thing, in this case (and this coming from an old geezer who had her credit card number stolen last week). In other word, as Jonathan Swift might have said, we have been told 'the thing that is not' (yes, there was a reason we all had to read Gulliver's Travels!). What I can buy is that, in one way or another, Bevin shared the video with someone else. That's a no-no right there. And, I can also buy that Bevin might not be directly responsible for the fairly public airing of the footage (although that does begin to stretch my credulity). There could be various reasons for this - one is to show us how 'into' Bevin Andy is. But, then, the cow video he seems much less 'into' her - that's just one example. I will never believe that Fleiss filmed and leaked it, simply because showing how 'intimate' the setting is flat out ruins any illusion we have that we are seeing real interactions between people.
