In order for the order of the roses (hrm, sounds like it should be a Royal Order) to count, the producers would have to know the ultimate outcome from the very first episode.

I just cannot believe that's true.

I guess my question was less about the sequence across the shows (although it was interesting but you're also right), but for each show itself - that he doesn't pick how they go out and the producers are picking the order. I've never put much stock in how they are given out, but if this is true it just shows the level of control the producers have over absolutely everything.

Ah, I misunderstood - the producers do control it, probably even more tightly now since Jesse and Charlie's seasons, .

Mainly, I think it's for any dramatic effect in leaving a particularly tense woman waiting until the end.

Forestpal - I was not aware - either you said it and I missed it, or you didn't tell us- that your friend was going to Iraq. PLEASE don't bother him there with my dumb request - while we have all been obsessed with Andy and his future fiancee, there are a LOT more important things going on in the world than this silly little show - and Iraq is Number 1 on the list of important things!

But please keep posting - I love your perspective.

As a lawyer, I can say that IF there is a contract with the Navy, and IF it uses the word cad, it will be the first contract I've heard about in my 27 years of lawyering that used the term "cad"

I agree with you and I noticed last week that Andy has alternated perfectly who got a rose (b or T) week to week. It seems odd that it did go B/T/B/T/B/T/B (as far as who got the rose before the other). I have to believe that the producers do have a certain amount of control over what order roses are given out... otherwise, it would become obvious fairly quickly if he keeps giving the same girls the same roses in the same order week after week. That wouldn't even take a sleuth to figure out, lol! I, personally, think the bach has to tell the producers just before hand who is going home and they tell him what order to hand out the roses AND that he has to drag it out for better drama. Lots of dramatic pauses and the such.

Some of the worst editing this year has been showing Andy checking for his cues, especially at the RCs. You ALWAYS see him looking to the side, then calling the next name. It's quite distracting for such a "serious" part of the show. It's been obvious in other situations as well. Or maybe I'm just paying more attention this time.

Just a clarifcation. Andy only has about a year remaining of his tour of duty in Hawaii. However, since the Navy paid for Duke and UCSF, he still owes the Navy at least another 5 years of service (8 years starting from 2004, after the completion of college, med school and his year-long surgical internship).

forestpal one of our military doctor's wives - maybe Beachmom? - said that he'd owe 7-8 years to the Navy after his surgical internship year because he owes for both Duke and Med School. Sounds logical. If he finished med school in 2003, then started this tour after internship in the summer of 2004 , he stills owes the Navy a few years. This tour in Hawaii will be up in a year. But another tour is to follow. Maybe he'll owes 2 four year stints. Unless NASA snatches him.

No, I said that IF Bevin is angry. Pure speculation. The F2 is often angry. Actually the F 3-4 . Amber was livid. I am hoping that we wont see a repeat of that. In Travis' season Moana was angry at him, but more so at herself. I hope the F2 tonight will react more like Sadie, or Danielle. Of course she'll be sad but I hope she wont lash out at anyone.Partly because it makes me even sadder for the F2 and partly because it makes me happy to think that staying calm just pisses Fleiss off.

Have you read Trista's contract for which I provided a link at smokinggun.com? What would you do if a client came to you with that? Maybe it's standard reality TV fare, but I find it shocking.
