As far as winning the ring, Jennifer is one of two who currently are shown as having a shot at it. Being on the Lisa boat, of course I hope that doesn't happen.

Lorenzo has said in interviews that he fell in love with two women and that he didn't make his final decision until two hours before the final rose ceremony. IMO he fell in love with both Lisa and Jen. He chose Jen because he wasn't sure he was on the same five year plan as Lisa. I think the five year plan plays a significant role in his decision because that is all the producers seemed to want to focus on during Lorenzo and Lisa's one on one date in the last episode.

Okay, I said my money is on her winning in the end, as in I would pay money to bet that she wins over any other girl (NOT that she is there for the money) And from the way she looks, I think she deserves to fall in love. And how are you so SURE that they are not there for the right reasons? Even if they are not, maybe in the end they do fall in love. And so what if that is what Lorenzo came on the show for publicity, it DOES NOT mean he didn't just happen to fall in love. And maybe he won't marry one of the ladies, who knows, time will tell. If this show is all about the money, publicity, fame, tiara, whatever, WHY are you watching it? Why not just turn the channel and watch something more REAL if you don't really favor anyone in it?

Hey now! As many around here can attest, I have previously made fun of all ferris wheels, firetrucks, boats, hayrides, buses and pretty much every other mechanized and non-mechanized mode of transportation ever devised for any contestant on the show. So I'm not singling "your" boat out, sorry if it seemed like I did. Last year there was a hayride for Country Barbie (Sarah the "winner"), it got mighty crowded, people were falling off of it left and right and, you know, it just seemed terribly unsafe.

Of course Larry or any of the other fameHOs on the show can fall in love, despite all the circumstances, but primarily and ovewhelmingly the kind of people who sign on for reality shows such as this one, and especially this one, do it for some reason other than finding love. And I'm about as sure of that as your are about Jennifer "deserving" to fall in love.

Be it 15 seconds of dubious TV fame, a free trip to somewhere, lots of booze or a chance to later sell show memorabilia online, or even to meet the one and only available single man (or woman) in a highly artificial and contrived setting for the purpose of filming a TV show, these people put themselves out there and will be subjected to comments of all sorts, up to and including ridicule and way worse.

As to why I'm watching? Not for the non-existent love aspect of it, that's for sure. I'm watching because it's a bit of fluffy entertainment, a bit of archaic matchmaking reduced to made-for-TV drama, a bit of good old-fashioned unintentional comedy and for the same reason that there are gapers' delays on highways when there's a multi-car pile-up at the height of rush hour.

Oh, and by the way Agnese is my "favorite" on the show... for now.

Of course Larry .....can fall in love

I think it is so funny that you call Lorenzo Larry...I just don't see the prince as a Larry...the name is just too "All American" to be associated with an Italian prince.

this show is 2 for 11, 2 out of 11 couples are still together

with those odds, i'm shocked anyone still thinks anyone could find love on this show....and the fact that lorenzo is catering to the producers in keeping erica and this charade of girls gone wild makes me think he's not in this for long haul

and i really like lorenzo, he's my favorite bachelor so far, but do i think he's really gonna marry the person he picks? HELL NO

the whole idea that somebody could marry someone after knowing them for 6 weeks while dating 24 other people at the same time is so unrealistic, i'm surprised 2 couples made it, and i question mary/bryon, werent' they supposed to be married by now lol

i dont know how this show is still going despite their track record, but i really like the show and find it very entertaining, but its going the route of vh1 celebreality!!!!

next thing you know the bachelor/bachelorettes will be appearing on springer

Lorenzo is the Italian equivalent of Lawrence, or Larry for short. It's no more princely than any other name. I have stepped away from Doggy Prince which was my initial favorite... too long to type out all the time.

It will be interesting to view whether "connections" are made this next Mon (10-16). It's drama that keeps us watching, and Fleiss' casting people know where to find the cast members to provide it. If real, true love does happen in this freaky atmoshphere, more power to the two people who found it.

Ok, here's my take on this season so far and how I think all of the final 4 we have narrowed it down to (that is providign that Desiree doesn't slip in! ). Now I'm not on any trains, swings, planes, wagons, white horses or custom-plated solialiite mobiles! , I'm just going to play "spin the storylines" with our oh so predictable Bachelor editors in mind.

I'm definitely NOT ruling out any of the four, that being Lisa, aGanese, Jennifer and Sadie, stealing our title-in name only-prince's heart.
First of all, I'll take on Lisa, who fell from pre-show grace once she opened her mouth and plotted out her 5 year fertility plan for all the Bachelor world (except Lor) and started bragging about her favored status with Lor. My thoughts are this, first of all in looking at the show this week and the previews for the rest of the season, Lor really seems to like Lisa. Check out the slow-mo video that Dreamer did during their greeting at the supposed Fantasy date. He looks pretty darn happy to see her. Now my question is, why is she's getting the negative edit and can it be turned around or is she doomed to be number 2 or 3? Based on predictability of past shows editing, it seems more likely that she is NOT the one because the front runner, i.e. the first rose girl, the one who Lor shows the most interest in early, is usually not the final recipient of the rose (past examples, Jane, Sarah W. Tristen). Could she possibly break this negative edit and be the one Lor has chosen? It is possible and I'll base it on past show's winners who didn't get the most positive edit.. Jerry, Ian, and although she was #2, Crisly received a 180 turnaround in editing from negative to positive.
The deal breaker for Lisa is if she actually falls for Prince Lor or she just falls in love with the idea of a prince fulfilling her masterplan. If she falls for him, her saving grace could be admitting that she did infact have a timeline but realized how silly that is when you actually love someone you don't need to mat out a flow chart, the timing will work itself out. She could admit this much to Lor and win his heart in return IF she's sincere and thus the edit could be played to show " Is following a plan more important or is taking a chance on love without timelines worth the risk?"

Now, Agnese's chances for winning P-Lo's heart are based on the premise that Love is a universal language that breaks all cultural language barriers. Big leap for our language challenged Prince, but it's possible IF he sees Aggie as more than just a beautiful face and a summer fling. If he finds a way to communicate and she's willing to put up with those 'crazy' American girls and a show that is VERY foreign in it's ridiculous premises of love, then Agnese and Loz could indeed, fall in love. I think she's the most beautiful girl in the group and seems genuine and sweet, so if love can take the language barrier leap (which will be spun to DEATH, by the spinmasters at Fleiss and co.) then we could have our first international Bachelor connection!
Sadie is the dark horse in my opinion, but it's definitely possible for her to make it to the FRC. She's the dark horse because of the virgin thing and the fact that Lor has obviously had some very serious long term relationships and I'd bet the farm that they were not celebate ones! :nono There's also the sleuther's dilemma of no screencaps tying her to the final 3 episodes (counting the WTA), which in the past has been the deal breaker for us sleuthers in weaning out the field. A lot depends on that swing picture w/ Agnese being in week 4 or the fantasy date week. She's definitely getting the good girl edit so far but especially starting next week, they will play up the V thing and if Lor is willing to "wait" on her. I think IF he really falls for her, yeah he'd wait ( at least until this show is over) and his cryptic answer in that interview where he said the thing about having sex with one of the girls and we'd know the answer by who he chose and why .. or something like that. The same answer could apply to Jennifer who's next.
Now, Jennifer is the favored pick by many net fans on a lot of boards including this one. I got to wondering if the 'regular' audience sees her as the favorite or if it's mainly those who sleuth and read spoilers, etc. The answer is, I don't think she's become the obvious one YET, but is being set up, editing-wise, with a very 'good, sweet' girl persona and this is matching what the Good Prince said he's looking for. Is she the slam dunk? The screencaps have her looking very good, but I wouldn't place a china order YET but I could definitely see her getting the final rose.

I think you did very well. But I just get this feeling that dear Agnese could be the one. I think she understands english much better than they are letting us know. when the prince asked her to say that she was falling in love with him and etc.. she seemed to respond!.. However having said that I really would be happy with Jenn or Sadie.

Great post Cafegirl! I understand it well, you really made it clear for me to see what's going on right now in the show and where everyone stands. I would be happy if Sadie, Agnese or Jennifer wins his heart. (Favoring Jennifer a little more) But as long as he and the girl are happy and In Love, I'm happy
