The "southern girl" from Byron's season was Tanya - and she was a special ed. teacher that Byron talked about "admiring her" ... very similar setup to this season.I hope so too, yet I feel like I'm in the minority believing this will happen. Then again, remember how like 90% of viewers thought Meridith was going to pick Matthew? I knew it would be Ian.
Moana is her own person and she hasn't been the outright mean girl saying "I didn't come here to make friends", yet she's been shunned by the other girls in the house who are a clique'. What annoys me are the scenes during the casino group date when the "clique' was so persistent asking Moana if she was into Travis. Same on the boat, questions which I believe even came from Sarah like, "can you see yourself with him in the future" blah, blah, blah. They weren't asking because the liked Moana. It was to get the answer they were looking for so they could talk about her more.
I really think Travis and Moana have an emotional connection, from cuddling on the boat, him constantly caressing her arms while the accordian player serenaded them, holding hands throughout dinner always touching fingertips--very erotic-like. They were alo doing the whole hand-holding etc. during their stop at the little cafe. The romantic music resembled that of Meredith and Ian's Brazil meeting.
That said, I don't dislike Sarah however I just don't see any connection except being friendly neighbors.
In the past few seasons it seems to me that the runner up has been a person of good character and that would "take the fall" with grace and dignity; Krisily, John Paul, Charlie, and the Southern girl from Byron's season. If Sarah is the runner up, she resembles these other runner-ups in character.

I totally agree with all of this above, although I would add that I think that, imo, there are strong indications that he has chosen Sarah and they are continuing to date. T.'s comments on Tyra show that he takes "love" very seriously and is in touch with the different levels. Perhaps this is because he was engaged before?
