"Sarah's the perfect match for YOU, she looks fun, she's always happy, she's the girl next door!!" Or key phrase 'the girl next door' ... cause wouldn't it be uncomfortable post show if he picked Moana and still has a few months medical residency in Nashville so both the winner and loser would be living a few blocks apart!?!? Yeah, I think he wanted Moana but painted himself into a corner with keeping Sarah to F2. ![]()

| I see two potential endings here. The final rose goes to....SARAH. By two weeks after the show wraps, Travis is bored silly and tells her he just wants to be "friends." The final rose goes to....MOANA. By six weeks after the show ends, they have their first big fight, she cries one too many times, she boils his bunny, and they have a huge and passionate breakup. Either way - no After the Final Rose show because there is no relationship and Fleiss and Co doesn't want a repeat of the Jerry/Jen debacle. I know I am a pessimist - I personally like Moana a lot and would love to see them as a couple, but I just find it really weird that they aren't really pushing the "Travis chooses the woman of his dreams" angle. They are usually all over that at the second-to-last show (and in all the promos!) So, that, plus the last of AFR show, tells me he and the chosen woman are no longer together. So I guess if I like Moana for him I should be hoping he picks Sarah? LOL. I don't know. Someone convince me that he picked someone he is in love with, because I don't see any reason they wouldn't be promoting the heck out of that right now if he had. They certainly didn't let it stop them with every single other bachelor and his choice (even though they almost all split up eventually!)

| This may have already been covered, but I have been following the boards religiously but can't find a definitive answer. We know Sarah's position at the FRC because of her hair. She is on the winner side. Do we know whether or not Moana's position has also been flipped? Is it possible Fleiss changed it up this season to where both girls stand on the winners side? Also if there is no proposal, nor a ring does it really matter which side the winner stands on since there will not be a ring shot? ![]() Also did you guys see this cap shot from last Monday's show for FRC previews? It looks to me like Moana is leaving the inside of a building (the chateau?) and heading outside at night. You can tell she's heading outside because of the plants. I taped the show and watched the scene a couple more times and she is definitely wearing her FRC dress and is walking away from the building, and at a brisk speed too. Why would she be leaving the building at night alone? Is it possible she was so hurt at Travis rejecting her that she walked out of the ceremony alone and he followed after her and was able to close her limo door? Is it possible she storm out without him which prompted his "I hope she's okay" comment? Is that the same main walkway down to where the limo would be? Or is she just walking from the women's chateau to the limo on her way to the FRC? But if so, why is it so dark? |

But yes, Moana's pictures were also flipped. Most of her screencaps show her on the right side, but due to analysis of her features and Travis', and the room details we know that hers is flipped and she belongs on the left side.Quote:

| Something I haven't seen discussed this season, but remember from seasons past (sorry not sure which ones). At the F3 RC, Susan received the first rose. At the F2 ceremony, Moana received the first rose. Isn't it time for Sarah to receive the first(and only) rose? I vaguely remember reading a thread from another series that said something about how the one who gets the first F2 rose does not win. I can't for the life of me, remember if this is true or not, but it's good for discussion, right? ![]() |

I do agree he has already moved on, and that whatever we see after next Monday will be not only short-lived, but for 'show' only. My strong suspicion is that this will be like the Jesse season, with a curt announcement as soon as the 'dating' portion of the contract expires. I'd love for him to pick Moana, and for them to live happily ever after, but I just don't see it in the way the show is being scheduled.

And it would also fit with the comment that he made since the show is over -- that he's happy with "his choice." Doesn't necessarily mean his choice of *woman.* Could easily mean just whatever he chose to do ... Nah, just misleading myself with wishful thinking. Nevertheless, the way they describe the rose ceremony is *very* intriguing, though. "Conclusion." -- Hey, that sounds like an *ending*, too, rather than the beginning of a bigger romance, which is the way they pitched previous shows kind of ... Well, misleading myself again ...

| Correct me if I'm wrong - but hasn't it been said in previous seasons that the WTA and the AFR are optional programs if not ordered before production starts? They chose to do the WTA, but I can see other reasons for not doing the AFR that aren't quite as cynical as other views I've seen. Some of these reasons include *not* torturing the woman not chosen with the whole scene, that's always so painful and I didn't like the AFR for that reason. There's also the fact that viewership drops during the AFR, it's a big inflated show that doesn't really show much other than an update that we can get on the talk show circuit. I don't think the choice to not order the AFR this season is a negative thing with regards to the relationship Travis chooses. Maybe it's just me, but I've never really liked the AFR shows. They're just uncomfortable and staged. With what we've seen of Moana this season, who would want to put her through the AFR regardless of the outcome? To me, that would be just cruel. |
