Thats pretty much what I've been thinking too..... Officially Lo is probably not allowed to say anything without ABC approval for a specified period of time.....and by that time there will probably be nothing to say. IF there was something between he and Sadie as Skip indicated, then it probably has already fizzled too or someone would have got wind of it by now. Skip started all the "inquiring minds want to know" business, so I sure wish he'd say SOMETHING to put things to bed. Two thumbs down to Skip for leaving us all hanging! ![]() | |

| I have to agree with Cafegirl, as much as I would like otherwise. I don't think that the process worked with this Bachelor either. Perhaps Fleissian interferrence played a part in earlier decisions also. (There were older, intelligent women in the original "lineup.") At the point that the remaining women were in like with Lorz, it would have taken a great deal of determination and effort on the part of all participants to move beyond that. In the end, I don't believe any of the last four girls were going to be a "mate" for Lorz, nor he for them. ![]() I find it interesting that the women from the Bachelor form such attachments with each other (a bunch went skiing at Vail over New Year) and move to Los Angeles - or at least keep in touch. From Charlie, Travis, and now Lorz.I am ready for a new bachelor, and despite what the majority of you are expressing as to your initial reactions, I am ready to begin sleuthing again. I am choosing to believe that this is a great guy, and am hoping Fleiss doesn't destroy that illusion.

| I believe by MONDAY something will be said about Jen and Lorenzo because she will be going back to school, and if she is not wearing the ring then we will all know it is over. However if she is still wearing the ring then things maybe going on. |

| http://reality-superstars.com/realit...nmarried-lady/ January 6, 2007 Sadie Murray is a Happily Unmarried Lady In Reality TV News, The Bachelor Written by Reality Superstars CARLSBAD CA – Many of us will take time in January to examine the pluses and minuses of the past year. For Sadie Murray, the experience of appearing on last season’s reality television series, “The Bachelor: Rome” offered extremes of both. Pluses included romance with a real prince, and receiving a slew of red long-stemmed roses, each signifying acceptance into the next round. There was the heady rush of appearing on television, where Murray’s Carlsbad family and friends could tune in weekly to see her and 24 other contestants compete for one man. Then there was that last show letdown by bachelor Prince Lorenzo Borghese: “The truth is that there is another woman here, and at this point, I’d rather be with her.” It was the kind of remark that could have prompted a tantrum or a kick in the pants. Under the camera’s watchful eye, Murray took the news with a tearful smile and made a poised exit. “It was a shock, honestly,” Murray said in a recent phone interview from New York, where she was interviewing for a position with a publicity firm. “I decided in that moment that I would be selfless. I wanted him to be happy and if that was the decision, who am I to stand in the way of that? I was concerned because he was so upset at seeing me cry.” The prince shed a few tears, too, before handing a ring and the rose to Jennifer Wilson, a 24-year-old teacher from Florida. He explained the ring didn’t signify a marriage proposal, though he had asked the fathers of both finalists for their daughter’s hand in marriage. The ring was a token of his intent to get to know her better. After the show, Sadie bumped into Borghese and Wilson separately, in Los Angeles. Borghese, 34, is a cosmetics entrepreneur in Manhattan. “I remain friends with Jen; she’s a doll and we get along well,” Murray said. “We have a bond unlike any two other friends on this earth. We were on a reality TV show together, competing for a guy. It’s too funny. “It was great talking to Lorenzo, too. We ran into each other at a club and exchanged numbers. I think we’ll remain friends.” Murray attended Santa Fe Christian Schools in Solana Beach for 13 years before graduating from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in communications. She found out about “The Bachelor” series through her public relations job in Los Angeles. “The bachelorettes get gift bags and things like that,” Murray said. “When I got the e-mail, I thought it would be fun and auditioned for it.” The fun included a trip to Italy for Murray and her parents, and a romantic date on Moonlight Beach in Encinitas when Murray brought the prince home to meet Mom and Dad. A dozen members of the film crew set up camp in the family’s Carlsbad home. “We had Mexican food,” said her mom, Colleen Murray. “We wanted to represent our area – fun and California casual. I wasn’t nervous at all and we had missed Sadie so much. It was six to eight weeks without her.” The show’s camera crew tracked all the contestants for weeks, filming everything from catty remarks and kisses to the girl who drunkenly mistook the prince for a waiter. “They tape everything all the time and you are always on camera,” Murray said. “They have the right to do what they want in order to make it as entertaining as possible. No one wants to see someone brushing their teeth.” During filming, Murray, 23, confessed that she intended to save herself for marriage. She was immediately labeled “the virgin” on many Web sites for reality television viewers. “I really wasn’t prepared for the amount of light that was shown on that,” Murray said. “But you have to be comfortable with your own boundaries and to really own them.” Though she wasn’t chosen, Murray did walk away with the stunning cream-colored gown she wore on the last show and a newfound sense of independence. “It was an experience that ushered me into a new sense of self,” she said. “I became independent emotionally, and that needs to happen to everybody at some point.” Murray said she wants to stay single and would like to move to New York. She said she’s a little scared, but that’s just a sign to move forward because “when you are comfortable, you don’t really grow.” Her parents are behind her all the way. “We were bursting with pride,” said Colleen Murray. “She carried herself with grace and class. That in itself was a happy ending.” By Marcia Manna San Diego Union Tribune

| She seems to be bumping into Lorenzo quite a bit, I think it's telling that she gave Lorenzo her number that in itself let you know that Jen an Lorenzo are no longer together.........Bumping into him in NY and LA wow.......... |

| Until Jen and Lorenzo ever come out and say something about their relationship status (whatever it is) - it could go any way at this point. I remember Trista kept in touch with Charlie, though she was engaged to and married Ryan... IMO, bumping into one another and exchanging phone numbers isn't enough conclusive proof to point to Lo's current relationship status. I wonder if they bumped into each other in LA or in NY first. Sadie doesn't give any indication at all that she'd seen him in NY, though Colleen on HSN said that she had seen Lorenzo and Sadie in NY... wonder what's going on with all of that.

| If Sadie does move to New York (she was there interviewing for a job according to the article), she may have wanted that long before she had ever heard of the Bachelor or Lorenzo - and probably has absolutely nothing to do with him. She seems to be the kind of person who loves to challenge herself, but not the kind of person to move across the country in hopes of getting together with someone who at the moment of truth, didn't choose her. She seems to be very happily single since the show ended, both in this article and in her interviews. She's been friendly about Lorenzo, but not romantically friendly about him - I think it's purely platonic, whatever is left between them. Sadie doesn't seem to be a completely impulsive person, so I'm inclined to think she's been mulling around the idea of moving to New York for a while now. Maybe going to Rome for the show was her chance to prove to herself that she could do the seperation from her family... As for the numbers exchanged, I guess we'd have to be one of the three parties involved to know how any of them feel in this situation. I'm glad that Sadie and Jen do continue their friendship.
